00:38Why are you so locked in on this guy being that good?
00:43I just don't see it.
00:44He had a great rookie year.
00:46No doubt there's talent.
00:47But what locked you into making you think he is our quarterback?
00:52I would like to hear.
00:54And so, you know, Tyler and Clint, I listened.
00:57I was like, you know what?
00:59I want to give some real context and evidence to really why I believe some of the statements that I
01:09see on this text line
01:10and I see on YouTube and I see on Twitch and I hear from national people and I hear from
01:14some people
01:15is just absolutely brain-dead crazy to me.
01:24One of the things that I did when I read that, I was like, you know what?
01:28Let me look.
01:29Let me look at the guys that's been around him.
01:33And see, that's why with you, Clint, we can have these conversations.
01:37Because I don't think, Clint, you question if he's good or if he can play.
01:44Your questions, I think, you tell me if I'm wrong, too, if he has the leadership qualities
01:50that you think someone needs to have to lead to a championship
01:55and if he is worth it enough for them to be able to play with the type of team that
02:03they want to play with.
02:04Yeah, my opinion is so far beyond is he good or not, it's not even funny.
02:12I mean, there is no – anybody that tries to sell that C.J. Stroud can't spin it with anybody
02:16in the league.
02:17I mean, obviously, Aaron Rodgers and the Pat, I'm just talking about they can't throw the ball effectively
02:22and pass the ball at an elite NFL level is crazy.
02:25It's not about what he's capable of doing.
02:27For me, the conversation about C.J., which is the one I hear most of the time,
02:32is, you know, is he worth 60-plus million dollars?
02:36We've gone from about 50-plus to 60-plus.
02:37Is he a piece or is he a pillar, right?
02:42Is he one of those guys that's an alpha and can take over an organization
02:48or is he just a quarterback that can produce and is talented?
02:53That's where I'm at with – for me, that's the conversation around C.J. Stroud.
02:58And so, yeah, so like I can get with that.
03:03Right, that's why I think we can have coming ground and have conversations
03:07whether we don't see complete eye-to-eye on C.J.
03:10or not because I can understand the space that you're coming from
03:14and it's a space that makes sense.
03:15Some of this other garbage don't make sense.
03:17But I went through Clinton Tyler and I said,
03:20all right, I just want to see who he's played with on the offense side of the ball.
03:26I just want to look through and see all the guys
03:29because he's only been here three years, right, Tyler?
03:31He ain't been here ten years.

03:34This ain't nine years where it's a long stretch of guys.

03:39We're familiar with him now, but he ain't been here a decade.

07:05So when you ask me, why do you think he is that good?

07:40That is one mark you know it better than I do of a quarterback.

07:53And people can just say, well, no, he is just completely sucked from his first year.

08:15And you ask and wonder, why do you think he's a good quarterback?

09:18if I'm C.J. Stroud and his camp, I ain't taking nothing less than something I can't walk away from.
09:24And if I'm the Texans, I'm hesitant to put it out there.
09:28You just laid out every reason why C.J. Stroud, even in a moment where the last time we saw
09:34him on the field, it was ugly.
09:35It was historically bad, right?
09:37Even in that moment, C.J. Stroud can still look him in the eye and go, nah, you got to

09:44And if I were C.J. Stroud, it's exactly where I'd be.
