00:34I've been working in the advertising industry for 18 years, and during the pandemic, all the marketing plans, companies, all
00:44brands,
00:44so in our industries, most of them is nawawala ng work, and nagko-close ang business, so yung industry namin
00:53is talagang booming due to digital advertising.
00:56There's a time na talagang pag after the work, super pagod ka na, extremely exhausted ka, so yun yung naging
01:05turning point ko, and then I shift to doing freelance muna.
01:10Take us back to the transition when you were transitioning from being an employee to open up your own business.
01:17I started as a freelancer muna, so I test muna when clients started coming in, so that's the time na
01:24I set up the advertising.
01:27We provide guidance for the businesses, especially SME market, so we do digital advertising for them, branding, content creations,
01:38and beside that, so what we do is inaaral talaga namin yung client, kinikilala namin.
01:45From there, we create the marketing materials, the strategy for them.
01:50After taking that major leap in your business or in your career, what are the things that you have learned?
01:56Being a business owner, I learned to be resilient.
01:59So, there are times na mahina yung business, there are times na may nawawalang clients, and may mga projects na
02:07hindi nagpo-push through.
02:09Kasi totally different talaga yung being employed to being a business owner.
02:14Kasi as a business owner, you're responsible for everything, lalo na for a solo owner.
02:19So, you're responsible for the clients, for the sales, finance, and marketing, even looking for a new client.
02:27Yun yung mga transitions na kailangan mong i-adjust being a business owner.
02:32Sa mundo ng advertising agency and that kind of business industry, what are the usual challenge that you always face
02:40or that you always encounter?
02:42Yung technology natin, very advanced na, so napakabilis na ang change.
02:46So, that's why we need to be open, we need to learn, and to adapt, especially with the AI right
02:52now, and all the apps na lumalaba.
02:55So, we need to incorporate that technology to our business.
02:59From your own experience, what advice can you give sa mga kanegosyo natin na nanonood na yun?
03:06My advice is start with what you know, but don't stop learning.
03:10So, you need to test your idea, test your concept, and then from there, you'll improve.
