00:00So one of the first scary movies I saw was War of the Worlds, which is 20 years next year,
00:06if you can believe it.
00:07I was curious if there's something on that set that you really learned about the genre or suspense that you
00:14can recall.
00:15Oh, I mean, I learned so much on that movie, just working with the, you know, greatest of all time
00:21and Steven and working with Tom and all of the people that they surround themselves with,
00:27who are just at the, you know, top of their games.
00:31And so it was a learning experience every day.
00:33But for suspense, I think that it's to always take your time, you know, I think like you can't rush
00:41that.
00:42And I think that this film also shares that of, you know, you don't necessarily get to see the creature
00:50right away or something.
00:52You know what I mean?
00:52It's like I'm, when you say War of the Worlds, I'm reminded of like that scene in the basement when
00:56that kind of eye is coming down and the build of that.
01:00And it's sort of simply done in a way, but it's that, it's the pace of it, you know, that
01:07kind of creates that.
01:09Yeah.
