00:09Let's say you want to compare two different PDF files by using Acrobat Pro. In order to do that,
00:15you can use the tools right here to compare two files. So over here inside of tools, you can see
00:21that there's an option to compare files. So let me just click on this and over here you can see
00:26that
00:27I can select two files to compare them. So I'm going to select the O file right here in the
00:31desktop.
00:32I have two presentations so I'm going to select this one first. I'm going to press open and I'm
00:37going to select presentation 2 which is simply an updated version of the file. I can also change
00:42the file and browse for files and I also have options to just compare text only. I can move on
00:49to settings to search for further information like changes and annotation, formatting and even
00:54backgrounds as you can see right here. So I'm going to check all of them because I want everything
00:59to be compared. So once I'm ready, I'm going to compare the files. So it is checking up what
01:05changes are there in the files for us to see. So you can see that there's some changes found right
01:11there. And these are the comparison results right here. So total changes are four as you can see
01:17right here. And if you have to go down, you can see both scrolls down just like that. And it
01:22actually
01:22will show you that this has been replaced. So you can see that this is changed. It shows
01:27one replacement, no replacement over here. This is something that's replaced as well. So title
01:33has been changed into 222. 20XX has been changed into 2020. And over here, the picture has been changed
01:41as you can see right here. So image has been replaced. So these are the changes that it's done. And
01:47even this
01:47text is changed, as you can see right here, you can also filter the changes, you can see that you
01:53can
01:53have a side by side comparison, you can see the old file, you can see that it highlights the changes
01:59right there, just like that highlighted in yellow, and new file, it highlights the changes right there
02:04as well. And you can see what has been changed as well. You can go to the next change by
02:09using this
02:10navigation window right here, or you can go to filter. So you can just show the image changes, for
02:14example, I'm going to disable the text changes, let's just deselect all and just see the image changes. So
02:22I'm going to go over here into image and graphics, you can see that only that is highlighted, not the
02:26text now. So I'm going to enable text as well. Now you can see that the texts are highlighted just
02:31like
02:31that. So that is how you can filter the changes as well. And so you can show and hide results.
02:36So you
02:37can show the color legends right here, which is yellow is replaced now. And if something is inserted as a
02:43new
02:44one, it'll show up as blue and deleted is red as you can see. So there's nothing inserted or deleted,
02:49there's just replaced as you can see right here, you can also see the summary. And there you go,
02:53there's four, replacement, no insertion or deletion, no changes in style or annotation as you can see.
02:59So that is how you can compare files, compare two different PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
