Welcome to this Microsoft Planner tutorial. In Lesson 11, you will learn how to delete and move Buckets in Microsoft Planner. You’ll see how to remove a bucket that you no longer need and how to change the position of buckets to organize your plan more effectively.

Moving buckets can help you arrange your workflow in a logical order, while deleting unnecessary buckets can keep your Planner workspace clean and easy to manage. We’ll also consider what happens to the tasks within a bucket when making changes.

Follow the complete Microsoft Planner tutorial series to learn task and project management step by step.

00:09So one of the things that you can do inside of Microsoft Planner is delete out and move out
00:15buckets as you need as well. So over here I got initial draft, version 1, version 2 and so forth
00:21and let's say I want to move the entire bucket. In that case I can simply go ahead onto the
00:26title
00:26and click and drag it and move the bucket like this as well. So let's say for example I want
00:32the
00:32version 2 in the beginning. It doesn't make sense so let's just go ahead and then drag it out right
00:38here after version 1. Apart from that you can also click on the three dot button right here and move
00:43it to the right just like this or you can click right here move it to the left or right
00:48so you
00:49can move it to the left or right right here just like this. So apart from that if you don't
00:54want
00:54any bucket let's say for example I don't want the version 2 bucket at all then I can simply click
01:00on the three dot button right here and click on delete right here and then click on delete and
01:06then the bucket will be removed out just like that. And that is how you can go ahead and delete
01:11out
01:11and move bucket as needed inside of Microsoft Planner. So hope you guys learned something as
01:18always. And as always please like comment share and subscribe.
