00:09so over here you can see that I have a video and I have set the in and out point
00:13let me just set
00:14another in and out point by pressing I and pull right here and that's how you can add in a
00:18segment
00:19but I need to add in a new segment so I'm just going to press plus and then I'm going
00:24to press
00:24so so I can go ahead and export this up and what happens is that I can go over here
00:30and these are
00:31all the files but sometimes you don't want the source file to be there so you can go around and
00:36delete the source file as well an easy way to do this after you export is to go ahead and
00:42press D
00:42on your keyboard and it says are you sure you want to move the source file to trace once you
00:47click on
00:48trace it what happens is that the main file has been removed to trace so what happens is that it
00:54is sent on to the recycle bin right here so you want to get it back you can go over
00:59here and then
01:00get it back from here but if I were to go and open that out you can see that the
01:04source file is not
01:05here anymore but it is not really recommended to delete out the source file unless you're absolutely
01:11sure or you need to let's say for example free up some space for some reason so this is how
01:17you can go
01:18ahead and delete out the source file and recover it from recycle bin when you're working with a project
