00:00Why do so many companies leave California, and what could California be doing differently to keep new companies, innovative companies
00:06like this, in the state to keep these jobs in California?
00:09Yeah, the bottom line is that all workers, including workers in California, are American workers that the Trump administration is
00:15looking out for.
00:16States like California continue to drive out amazing companies like this due to over-regulation, and a lot of that
00:22comes in the employment world, where the Department of Labor is making sure that all American workers get the opportunities.
00:27But as states like California continue to over-regulate, over-regulate, put these additional burdens on employers, it's just going
00:36to drive out companies.
00:37And that American innovation, which we all know and love, which sadly, you know, California led the country in, but
00:44now that they're bleeding all these jobs, it's just more jobs that are going to be lost for California, really
00:48at the harm of the American worker.
00:50And I think that's the biggest problem, and a problem a lot of these discussions don't talk about, is that
00:54these policies coming out of Sacramento, these policies that are driving companies out of California, they're hurting California workers.
01:01They're hurting citizens that want to be in a state they love and care about, that want to be, you
01:05know, there and don't want to leave to have these jobs, and they're being forced out of their home states,
01:09too.
01:09So it really has that trickle-down effect in the economy when you over-regulate, drive businesses out, you're hurting
01:15local workers.
01:15And in President Trump's administration, our first and foremost responsibility is to those American workers, whether you're in California or
01:21you're in Texas.
01:22But that's what we're really trying to do, is make sure that California workers are having opportunities and not losing
01:27opportunities because of California policies.
