00:00I live on our family owned and operated 450 cow dairy farm in Shepparton, Northern Victoria.
00:06In my off-farm role I work for Shira Woolhandler Training based out of the University of Melbourne's
00:11Dookie campus. I'm really dedicated to helping young people pursue their careers in agriculture
00:16and promoting our ag industries and rural communities to young people. I really love
00:21promoting work health and safety and helping them incorporate that into their everyday working lives,
00:26hopefully demonstrating to them through what I do that just because they're working in
00:30agriculture doesn't mean that they have to be have any less right to be safe or in a respectful
00:36working environment. I really value education and my goal is to have a positive impact and help the
00:42long-term sustainability of the agricultural workforce one young person at a time. Really
00:48lucky with my career that I work with some really wonderful colleagues who are all as invested in
00:53these young people's futures as I am. And yeah, look forward to seeing where all my young people
01:00end up in their careers. That is really what drives what I do. Love seeing them out and about in
01:05industry.
