00:00Trinbego Knight Riders lost to St. Clusia Kings by 36 runs in their Republic Bank CPL
00:04match at the Queen's Fork Oval.
00:06The result meant that TKR suffered three straight losses after winning their opener on August
00:118th.
00:11Once again, Knight Riders captain Nicholas Puran expressed concerns about the bowling.
00:16We have been struggling as a bowling group in the last couple of games and there's no
00:20secret about it.
00:21For us personally, it's all about just trying to figure it out, you know, put the piece
00:25together, bowl in that partnership, try to restrict teams as much as we can.
00:29You know, sometimes the overs are just going too big and that's the difficult things in
00:33T20 cricket.
00:34For us it's just about figuring it out, again, T20 cricket is all about, it's very contagious,
00:39right?
00:39Winning and losing.
00:40Obviously we're losing games now and we're finding a way to lose games, but it's fine.
00:44Again, we just need to get some momentum.
00:47Puran commended the Kings for the way they performed on the night.
00:50He could not leave out opposite number Rosten Chase for his efforts with ball in hand.
00:54Yes.
00:54I mean, again, I'm chasing 212, obviously that's a good total.
00:59I think we were right in the game after the power play there, being 70 without loss and
01:03then obviously Rosten got three wickets in that over there.
01:06You know, both teams, the game obviously swung in their direction really fast, but that's
01:10how the game goes.
01:11Those are winning moments in the game and unfortunately, unfortunately today we lost that winning moment.
01:17I felt like if that over didn't happen, we had a better chance in winning the game, but
01:21in saying that, you know, well played to Sanusha, they outplayed us today.
01:24The Trinbago Knight Riders next play Barbados Tridents on Friday from 8pm at the Queens Fork
01:28Oval.
01:29So how confident is Puran moving forward?
01:32Yeah, we've been in this position before.
01:34The storm is going to end and we're going to be ready for when that storm ends.
01:38We've been in this position as a group before.
01:40We have a lot of characters in our dressing room, a lot of experienced players.
01:44We know for a fact that we're going to put our heads together and figure it out.
01:47And we know once we win that one game, things are going to change.
01:52We don't become a bad team overnight just because we lose a couple games.
01:55We're going to be here, we're here in our home venue, the fans are coming out to support
01:59us and this T20 game changed really fast, right?
02:03St Lucia Kings skipper Rosten Chase was all smiles following the win.
02:07The result also saw his team jumping to number one.
02:10Yeah, I'm very proud.
02:11I never like to really dwell on the toss because I find that puts the team in a bad space
02:17morally.
02:18So I just like to whatever we have to do, just do it well.
02:21And then once we do that well, it makes it whatever we do second a bit easier.
02:25Chi has had impressive figures of three for 24 from his four overs.
02:29He now has 10 wickets in this year's Republic Bank CPL.
02:33Yeah, I find that the wicket was just holding once you bowl the ball into the wicket.
02:37Not too floaty but just try to bowl it into the wicket and just try to get that.
02:42I'm tall so I try to get that bounce and I try to spin it hard although it wasn't really
02:45spinning.
02:46And I thought that the ball held in the wicket a bit for me so that was key.
02:50The St. Lucia Kings next plays St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots on September 3rd.
02:54I don't know anything about two at work here about 2kers out.
02:56St. Kitts and Nevis by Kitts and Nevis.
02:57Well now our Bennett jumps up to half of a ten-inch Premium win.
02:57All in 2014, we get an exchange for offense since the frontlet pod.
