00:00He's just going to have to do the things that every single backup quarterback has to do to get ready

00:06He's got to be in that playbook.
00:07He's got to be studying when he does get those reps.
00:11When he gets the scout team reps, he's got to be on point with those.
00:14And there will be some carryover with what the Browns do.
00:17So he'll be able to do that.
00:19Then he's going to have to work a little bit overtime with receivers and whatnot when he can.
00:25After practice, grab some things here and there.
00:27A lot of it will be classroom work and studying.
00:30And it gives him time to assimilate this brand-new offense.
00:33It's not like he was going to be building on what he did last year.
00:36He had to learn this offense all over again, something brand new.
00:41And sometimes that can take a little while.
00:43And I think the thing that people do need to remember, and I listened to Fitz,
00:47and I thought that was a really great breakdown.
00:49Todd Munkin is not going to do anything other than try to devise a game plan
00:55for the player that he believes will give him the best chance to win in Jacksonville.
01:00And he feels that putting everything into the hopper, that that was Deshaun Watson.
01:05And when you look at the operation of the entire thing, that's what it comes down to.
01:10Now, I will say that having said all of that,
01:14even though Deshaun Watson is ahead in the operational realm,
01:18I think he really is going to need to work hard over the next three weeks to find more completions,
01:24to develop timing with guys like Harold Fannin,
01:27who missed the whole entire offseason because he had surgery.
01:31I don't think he's got the same kind of timing with the receivers that Shador does.
01:36Shador spent all of last year throwing to all of these guys,
01:40so he has some natural built-in chemistry already with some of these guys,
01:44even, you know, Isaiah Bond and some of the guys that were here last year, Harold Fannin.
01:48So I think Deshaun is behind in that regard,
01:52and I think he's going to have to work really, really hard to catch up.
