00:08It's Kiran Rijiju, who's except we were bringing to you earlier
00:11of that conversation, a podcast that he's had
00:14a low old bud conversation with our colleague Riti Chaudhary.
00:19Now in the aftermath of that, Rijiju comes out to quote India Today interview
00:23to slam the Congress. He says,
00:25Congress made a mistake of trolling me. Swimming must not become subject of politics.
00:31Swimming in Arunachal rivers is not performance.
00:35Congress MP made half-naked drive at Rijiju swimming.
00:38Remember, this is a controversy that had played out a few days ago
00:42where Kiran Rijiju was spotted taking a dip in one of the lakes,
00:46one of the water bodies basically in Arunachal Pradesh
00:50and commenting on that, it was a Congress MP who had come out to in fact
00:55take a jive at him. He's even come out to reply back to that
01:00in this conversation that he's had with our colleague.
01:04And this is quite an interview where we'll take you through
01:07all of the conversations. He's not shied away from expressing
01:11and addressing each, expressing his opinions and addressing
01:15each of the questions and the matters that have indeed become
01:19major flashpoints between the centre and the opposition in the recent times.
01:25And amongst them, one of them was this particular debate that came out
01:28from these very visuals. And Kiran Rijiju has now come out to quote
01:32that very interview that he gave to us while slamming the Congress and saying
01:37that there is no need for making such jibes because this is not a performative video
01:45that we've put out there. He hails from that very region and he's taken to something
01:50that's in fact been a part of his life growing up as well. That's the post he had very much
01:57made
01:57on social media. So yes, this is the latest flashpoint between the opposition and the centre
02:04with Kiran Rijiju also addressing it and coming out to answer certain jibes
02:11and take pot shots back, basically slam back at the opposition
02:16with regards to what they had come out to say.
