00:00We are hearing reports left and right that Browns fans are revolting everywhere with
00:05the idea of Deshaun Watson being the starting quarterback.
00:09Now, they go into their final week, their preseason game here tomorrow night, I believe,
00:16against the Patriots.
00:18Todd Munkin hasn't really given us a whole lot of reasons as to why Deshaun Watson over
00:23Shador Sanders.
00:24But we know Dylan Gabriel is starting this game tomorrow.
00:28And call me crazy here.
00:31It just feels like I believe we've got a quarterback competition.
00:35Tommy DeVito is trying to win the backup role for New England in this spot.
00:41And this just calls me crazy.
00:43But I think the Browns are going to be a little feisty here with the quarterback play in this
00:48one.
00:49No, 35, 35 and a half.
00:53It feels like it now.
00:55Now, if the Browns fans are up in arms, think about what the Browns players got to be feeling

01:03If Shador Sanders was not good enough to beat out Deshaun Watson, Dylan Gabriel's got to want

01:15Tommy DeVito is looking to buy a roster spot here.
01:18He's looking to earn it.
01:19But it looks like we could get some, I think, points are coming in this game with the Browns
01:24and the Patriots.
01:26I see that as a very, very reasonable look.
01:29And, you know, I over the past few years, I'll be honest, I routinely and I don't want
01:37to say like historically never bet the last weekend of the NFL preseason just because I
01:43know what's what.
01:44We know the Stars aren't playing.
01:45You know, I take my bets in the preseason, I get my action and then I'll say, OK, I'm
01:49hands off this time.
01:50It's more about just what figuring out what teams are actually kind of trying to do.
01:53But the more and more I think about it and after hearing you say that, I kind of do like
01:57the over and I don't mind the little sprinkle on the Browns money line, because if there's
02:02a team that wants to show something, it would be the Browns over the Pats.
02:06Now, looking at the Pats depth chart, Tommy DeVito and Brent Morton, which I think it should
02:13be DeVito as the backup, but the points I can see coming.
02:16So 34 and a half, I'm seeing minus 118 to the over and maybe we'll sprinkle on the Browns
02:21money line at plus 120.
02:23I mean, that would create the real controversy.
02:25Dylan Gabriel goes out there.
02:26He balls out.
02:27They win at home.
02:28And now we got to think about this heading into week one with Deshaun Watson just taking
02:33more and more practice reps that everyone's not going to like.
02:37Yeah, and I'll tell you this, the the Browns, they've got some depth issues on that defensive
02:43side.
02:45Second half in both preseason game one and two, they have given up 41 points, Tom, in
02:51two preseason games.
02:53All of those guys are going to be playing this entire game because you're not going to be
02:58sniffing out starters.
03:00There will be no starters on the Browns defense here, which means those guys that have given
03:04up 41 points in the second half in two preseason games are going to have to defend, like you
03:10said, two quarterbacks trying to make a roster here and trying to play to make the backup spot.
03:15I think just give me the points in week, week three of the preseason.
03:21I think the Browns are going to get a little feisty here.
