00:08a quarterback for the Colts here, Tom. Listen, Danny Dimes, all indications are he's going to
00:14be ready to go to start the season, which is actually pretty impressive. But, you know,
00:19what do you got? Riley Leonard there battling for that number two job behind Danny Dimes. But
00:26you drafted him what? In what, a couple of years ago, I guess you got to figure out whether or
00:31not he can actually play. Is that what this is here, Tom? Whether or not he can actually play,
00:36it's also a good opportunity for the Colts to potentially use this as a showcase if he wants
00:41to be traded. He requested a trade earlier in the offseason, if I remember correctly,
00:46something along those lines. Listen, if he wants to be traded, you got to go out there and perform.
00:50The Colts need a reason to actually trade you and they have to, you know, be able to get something
00:55back. So if he goes out there and plays well, you know, a team's going to give you a sixth
00:59round pick,
01:00a fifth round flyer on this guy, because if he's not, they're not going to trade him because they
01:03can't find a suitable offer. And then there's no reason for them to cut him because they can just
01:07keep him on the roster, you know, essentially indefinitely as the QB three and he just loses the
01:12job. So it's a, it's almost a win-win for himself where if he plays well, he can go to
01:17a new
01:17opportunity. And it would, yeah, it would be great for the Colts if they can actually get,
01:23I don't know. Well, listen, you're never going to recoup from spending what you're a fourth pick
01:27in the draft in 2023, the fourth pick. And everyone looked around going, what are you out
01:33of your mind? Like a guy played one year in Florida, one, he had one year on as a starting
01:39quarterback in college. And well, this is how it works, right? I don't think there's any,
01:44they already said Danny Dimes is not taking a snap in preseason and Leonard is the right.
01:50Leonard is going to be the backup quarterback there. So doesn't shock me. Also doesn't shock
01:57me that I'm hearing great things about David Bailey and the New York jets. Tom, there's going to be a
02:03lot of questions this year with recent Bailey. Did the jets get the right guy? Did they pick the
02:09right guy? Apparently they're fighting all over the place with the Tampa Bay bucks. Bailey has been
02:15looking like he's just running guys over and stop me. If you've heard this before, apparently reports
