Are these the ten biggest college games of the college football season?

00:06All right, this is from Sports Illustrated, this list,
00:08and I think you'll find as we go through this,
00:10some of these games might be a little eyebrow-raising,
00:12but when we get to them, we get to them.
00:13But they start with a biggie, and it's a rematch of last year's
00:17big opening game, Ohio State at Texas.
00:21Hopefully there's more offense this year,
00:23and I think there will be because of, what is it, Jeremiah Smith,
00:27the receiver for, who may be the best player in college football.
00:31He won't win the Heisman because he's not a quarterback.
00:33Julian Sayan, back for another year, and Texas with Arch Manning.
00:37This is absolutely a much-watched game,
00:40and is Texas going to be a force this year?
00:44Some people think so.
00:45Arch Manning, is he going to be a top overall pick?
00:50Is he going to be a first-round quarterback?
00:51Remember this game last year is where people started talking about him
00:54as a fraud.
00:56This is two big brands, so I gave it four out of five stars.
01:00Some of the starch comes out because you can lose this game now,
01:03and the irony is the losing coach last year didn't even want this game
01:07held against them.
01:07So if the game counts, you should be able to hold it against them.
01:11So if that's the case, like each individual game doesn't matter,
01:15there can't be any five-star games now.
01:17There's some five-star games for me.

01:19Yeah, to me, this is huge for Arch Manning.
01:21This is when you're going to be able to tell is this guy on his path
01:24to being the number one pick or not,
01:26playing one of the better defenses in the country.
01:28I'm super intrigued to watch this one.
01:30And actually, I actually think it could be a battle of potential first overall
01:34picks with Smith and Manning.
01:36I think Smith could win the Heisman if things play out.
01:39I mean, we occasionally still see it.

01:42Next week, the September 19th, it's the Lane Kiffin Bowl.

01:47LSU at Ole Miss.

02:47The following week, September 26th, in a game where the teams can't both wear their home uniforms
02:52because they're too close to each other, Oklahoma at Georgia.
02:56I think this is going to be a great game, and it's defense, defense, defense.
03:00I don't know how much offense will be had in this game.
03:04Georgia, Oklahoma, Brent Venables, and the creativity.

04:30All right, October 17th might be the biggest one on this list, and I think it's going to
04:35be cool because it's Ohio State at Indiana.
04:39To me, this is like kind of Indiana's first super, super colossal home game maybe during
04:45this, what will now be a three-year run.
04:49So when I look at this one, again, you know, bringing up some former Spartans, Nick Marsh
04:55at Indiana, and the fact that here's the question I have about Indiana, and maybe it shouldn't
05:00be a question because of the track record of Kirk Signetti, but Josh Hoover coming over
05:04from TCU, new quarterback, Nick Marsh, new receiver.
05:07So you've got a combo that could be, you know, explosive.
05:11You've got a lot of transfers offensive, five transfers that should be starting for Indiana,
05:16but we've seen Kirk Signetti mold his guys into a team.
05:20This one is going to be very entertaining because of the brand that Ohio State is and the brand
05:28that Indiana has become.
05:30Indiana doesn't need credibility as the reigning national champs, but for this season, this is
05:35their biggest game.
05:36They don't play Oregon or Penn State in the regular season.
05:38It's mid-October.
05:39It's perfect.
05:41The leaves are starting to change in the Midwest.
05:43Game day should be here, you would think.
05:45This is a five-star matchup.
05:47I think this is actually the best game on the list.
05:49I mean, this just seems like this is, even though Indiana, like you said, they don't need
05:53the credibility, like the welcoming at home, the most perfect Saturday of the season, right

06:16It's two teams that were on the bubble of last year's playoff.
06:18This could end up being a swing game for who gets in, and this is Notre Dame's only ranked

11:11I think it really depends on what has gone on before this game.
11:18It could be one of the great matchups that we're going to see all year long.

11:28It could also be a two or three star game depending on what LSU does to that point.
11:34Are they a team that somehow crumbles or falls apart in Lane Kiffin's first year in Texas?

11:45Volatility, I think, is a good word for that late in the season.
