00:00If you're late to the story and don't know what the hell we're talking about,
00:05here's what I'm talking about.
00:06So that was Rabel today talking about comments he made in the postgame
00:11on Saturday night and what he really meant when he was complaining
00:16about his team's depth.
00:17And was there a message there in him complaining about his team's depth?
00:22So let's play the original comments, shall we?
00:25And this started with, you know, freaking reporters.
00:30He was ready to go on Saturday night and really sort of go off on this.
00:36Yep.
00:37And the reporters just had their preconceived happy-ass questions, you know,
00:42already loaded.
00:43They're not even listening.
00:44Listen to him.
00:45Listen.
00:46Listen to him and look at him.
00:48He's got something.
00:49He wants to blurt something out.
00:52And you're asking him about the third effing running back.
00:55It's like, God, guys, wake up.
00:59Because he was, finally someone got around to the most interesting part of the game
01:05was they were getting, in the second quarter, first quarter,
01:09whenever the hell this was, they were getting the ball rammed down their throat.
01:12I mean, run down their throat.
01:15Okay.
01:16And the play, just quickly on the play that triggered them,
01:19there were about five or six Patriots defenders who got carried about three yards.
01:24So they were getting, like a wheelbarrow.
01:28They were getting just, like, shoved down the field.
01:32And at one point, enough, he called timeout, like a basketball timeout.
01:38Maybe even the McCourty said that, but it was like a basketball timeout
01:41where Vrabel got the defense over the sidelines and reamed them.
01:45And finally, someone asked him about that.
01:47Jimmy, here's Saturday postgame number one, I think it is.
01:52What did he say during that timeout?
01:54I saw a defense, and I wanted to talk to him.
01:57And I figured that if I didn't call a timeout,
01:59that I wouldn't be able to get what I wanted to say off my chest.
02:02Okay.
02:03I saw a dog bleep defense.
02:05A dog crap defense.
02:07Dog poop.
02:08Okay.
02:09So right there, it's like, oh, he's got the ass.
02:13Let's mine this.
02:16And then the next question was about, Reese asked him about,
02:19who do you want to play on next?
02:20No, like, I would have stopped right there.
02:22Well, more on the dog crap defense, please.
02:25But Vrabel did it for us.
02:27So the very next question was from Reese about who he wants
02:31or what he's thinking about in terms of playing time
02:34for the next preseason game.
02:36Next week's game in Cleveland.
02:38Who should you play and that?
02:42Which led to number two, Jimmy.
02:44I don't think we have a very deep team, Mike.
02:46So, you know, I think we have to make sure that we're preparing
02:50our football team and that we're doing everything that we can
02:54to keep our best players available.
02:57We don't have a very deep team.
