00:00And that's not what people are questioning,
00:01and that's what people are talking about today
00:03when they look at that and say, what is going on here?
00:07What is the depth of this relationship?
00:09So we're asking some of these questions.
00:11What if Mike Frabel were a bad coach?
00:13He's probably gone already.
00:15He's probably fired.
00:17He's a good coach, though, which means the Patriots
00:19and really any other team in the league
00:20would not be in a position to be talking about firing him.
00:26Him being so good at his job is what's saving him right now.
00:30Here's what I think we should be thankful for.
00:32I told you there was something we should be thankful for.
00:36We should be thankful that this didn't happen
00:38in the middle of the season
00:40because that would be really, really bad.
00:43We've talked about this before, right?
00:46We've had this conversation on the show
00:47that how would this look if this happened in October
00:51and the team is in the middle of getting ready for a game
00:54and this drops on a random Wednesday.
00:57First of all, there would be madness, right?
00:59Crazy.
01:00Complete madness.
01:03And I think that that point is a good one.
01:05Got an email from Kyle who wrote,
01:07would love to hear you guys have a take on this.
01:09Is Frabel lucky that the story broke
01:11before Patriots players had reported,
01:13which is a little different than just what we've talked about,
01:16which is in season.
01:16If the timing was different,
01:19do you think he would have lied to the players giving them
01:23the it's laughable message the way he gave the it's laughable message
01:28to the New York Post at the start of April when this began?
01:32How would an accountability message land
01:35if he had initially spoken to the team
01:37with that same message he had publicly
01:41if he told them that because they were in the building?
01:43That's a great question.
01:44It's a great question because as if that was his initial reaction,
01:47he's trying to bury that story and run away from it.
01:49I would think that that's the one that you're going to say publicly
01:52inside those walls too, right?
01:54You're not going to have mixed messages when it comes to those two things.
01:56No, you're going to try to stay on brand.
01:58No, you're not going to Bye.
01:59Bye.
