00:33You know, they're a good team to bet on
00:35because the odds are going to be going against them
00:37because they're in last place at 15, 14, 15 games under .500.

00:42They're 18 and 13 since the All-Star break,
00:4511 and 4 since the trade deadline, Joe,
00:48when they traded about eight guys, literally.
00:50I mean, they got rid of their entire bullpen and everything else,
00:53and they played well.
00:54Why? How? I don't know how.
00:56But you know what?
00:58Don't fight it after a while.
00:59And they're beating some good teams to two out of three against San Diego.

01:08or they're not beating a bunch of lousy teams.

01:12So I think the Mets at plus 130, 135 tonight with Minaya on the hill.

01:43Third, fewest home runs behind Toronto and Milwaukee.
01:46I mean, they just can't hit their way out of a paper bag, right?

01:52No, they're one game out of a wild card spot.

01:57You know, they win a couple of games against Colorado.
01:59Maybe the Mets win one or two against, you know, Chicago.

02:05So you got Guy Gordon pitching for the Rockies.

02:09Then he went to the bullpen.
02:10I think they're now starting him again.
02:12So I don't think it's going to be a bullpen by committee game for Colorado.

02:19So if they don't win tonight, you know, with one of their better pitchers on the hill,
02:24then it would be a stay away.
02:25But I like them tonight.
02:26I think they find a way to get it done.
02:28You know, one of those teams that was in a nasty 7-17 slump.
