00:00UNE is here for its communities and this is where the agricultural community
00:03gathers for all of the significant parts of the systems not just the AG itself
00:09in the field as it were but all of the surrounding support structures that sit
00:14in our communities in our economy and UNE is fundamental to all of that and all
00:18of that is fundamental to UNE so we're really proud to be the education partner
00:21but for me the thing I really look forward to is the schools a lot of
00:24schools come through today that's why I've chosen to be here today and I just
00:28love to see the schools coming through the UNE we'd like to know they're here at
00:31AQIP but they come through the UNE displays and we've got a lot of staff
00:35over there we bring we bring the people who know stuff we don't just bring if
00:40you like event staff we have the people who are working in the fields we're doing
00:44the teaching and the school children get to interact very directly with those and
00:48so we take it very really it's a serious interface for us I've only been at UNE
00:52for three years but the the infiltration if you like of UNE via alumni into the
00:58communities and the economy not not just in this region but all over the world is
01:03is incredible one of our panelists earlier was talking about having gone to
01:07work in London as a fresh graduate and just found you and the alumni putting
01:12their hands out and supporting and providing assistance so it's not just near
01:16it's it's far we had a alumni event here each year we brought some sausages and
01:21invite the alumni we always get a few to come along and have a chat but the truth is
01:25the majority of them are running the stalls here and so they can't they can't
01:29come to our lunch because they're too busy cooking lunch and looking after their
01:33own looking after their own businesses which is great like that's what we want
