00:00Daily devotional. I will worship toward your holy temple and praise your name for your loving
00:06kindness and your truth. For you have magnified your word above all your name. Psalm 138.2.
00:17David begins this verse with worship. Before asking God for anything, he chooses to praise
00:25him for who he is. He reflects on two unchanging qualities of God, his loving kindness and his
00:33truth. God's love never runs out and his truth never changes with the opinions of the world.
00:41The final statement is especially powerful. For you have magnified your word above all your name.
00:49God places tremendous importance on his word because it perfectly reveals his character,
00:56his promises, and his faithfulness. Every promise he has spoken can be trusted because he is always
01:04faithful to keep his word. When life feels uncertain, don't let your emotions become your guide.
01:12Let God's word be your foundation. His promises are stronger than your fears. His truth is greater
01:21than your doubts. And his faithfulness is more dependable than your circumstances. Today, make
01:29time to worship the Lord. Open your Bible, meditate on his promises, and remember that the God who spoke
01:39his word is the same God who walks with you today. You can stand confidently because his word will never
01:49fail. Heavenly Father, thank you for your unfailing love and your perfect truth. Help me to trust your
01:57word above my feelings and circumstances. Teach me to worship you with a grateful heart and to build my
02:05life on your promises each day. Strengthen my faith as I follow you, knowing that every word you have
02:13spoken is true. In Jesus' name, amen. What would change in your life today if you trusted God's word more
02:24than
02:24your fears, feelings, or circumstances? Take a moment to pray and ask the Lord to help you build your life
02:33on
02:33his unchanging truth and to walk confidently in his promises. Today's truth. God's word is the sure
02:43foundation for every season of life. When our feelings change, his truth remains the same. When
02:51circumstances are uncertain, his promises remain certain. We can trust him completely because every
02:59word he has spoken is faithful and true. No matter what you're facing today, you can stand confidently on
03:07his word. It has never failed and it never will. What Bible promise has encouraged you through a difficult
