Picasso print stolen in broad daylight from Milwaukee gallery found eight years later

A local landlord discovered the stolen artwork while clearing out a vacant apartment and took it to police after an antique dealer recognised it.

00:13Sadly about eight years ago right in this very room somebody walked in in the middle of the day
00:19and picked a Picasso off the wall and walked out with it and nobody noticed not me not my partner
00:27and it was missing for eight years never thought I'd see it again and surprise surprise last week
00:36the police called and said we think we found your artwork so they were nice enough to bring
00:43it over here and indeed it was the piece that had been stolen eight years previously
01:01when it disappeared it was it was such a personal insult this just made me feel so bad
01:07so it was just the opposite when it came back it was like there is there are good people in
01:13the world
01:13so they didn't have to they didn't have to take it to the police station to check it out
01:19but they were good honest people and the world needs more people like that
