00:00In staging this exhibition we really wanted to bring Pauline's world to life so she lived in
00:18quite an extraordinary setting in her home overlooking Hyde Park and really our mission
00:24was to bring the collection to life in our galleries and follow really how Pauline herself had
00:32had the artworks displayed in her home.
00:47What is amazing about the Lalanne design in her home is that all of it was specially commissioned
00:54by her for the spaces.
00:57The bed behind which is one of the most iconic works in her collection was commissioned from
01:02the Lalanne in 2012.
01:04You can see here that it's this wonderful mixture of organic and surrealist bringing the outside
01:10into her home and the particularly lovely detail of the owl on the bed looking over her whilst
01:16she slept and the owl is seen as being this sort of messenger from the dream world watching
01:21her whilst she sleeps.
01:33So this is the first time in 15 years that work from the series comes up to the market.
01:39There are only five of them.
01:41One is the museum collection, the other four are in private collections including this one
01:44so it's a very rare opportunity to see a work like this at auction.
01:51To be able to see a great!
01:52There are only six of these two of them!
01:53There are also many, many of them that have been the most inclusive.
01:54To be able to see a project for this beautiful place, I'd love to see a great
01:55project for this from the UK, but of the rest of the country.
01:56I am the only one of them!
01:57Did you know this one with our favourite family?
01:58I will be able to see a project for this month in the coming two of years that
02:01It is the basic project for this month.
02:03Let me see a project for this month!
02:06I am the only one with the first time!
