00:00Here at AgQuip there's every possible piece of farm machinery, farm technology you could imagine.
00:07So we're asking exactly what it is that's piquing your interest.
00:12We've asked so many farmers what they want and here's some of their answers.
00:16We've just come down and had a look at the halter, the new virtual cattle collars.
00:21And we're just trying to move away and get away from traditional sort of fencing.
00:27So yeah that's what we've sort of come down here today for.
00:30A customer of ours a couple of years ago he was trying to work out how he can get the
00:36best even germination for his summer crops basically.
00:40He was playing around with some things and he came up with the idea of actually injecting the seed as
00:46he plants it with water.
00:47So he set up the planter with all these water injection pipes.
00:51So he did that put the water tank on the planter and planted all this cotton and it all came
00:56up really even germination.
00:59But then he ran into another issue of well filling he had to stop consistently to fill up the water
01:05tank.
01:06So it was always stopping on time to try and fill out.
01:09So then him and his son came up with the idea.
01:11They bought an old, not army truck, big four drive truck.
01:14And they built the system on this truck.
01:17They had a water tank on the back of it.
01:18And they built the yarm out the front for swiping up the spaceships and everything.
01:22So the yarm came out in front of the truck linked up to the back of the planter as the
01:27planter was moving.
01:27So they didn't have to stop.
01:28It was all done by these magnets.
01:30There was a lot of testing and research they did.
01:32It linked up to the planter and then it filled up.
01:36The tank clipped up on the planter while it was going so they didn't have to stop.
01:40And then it would de-link come up and then it would go and fill up.
01:43So basically the way they had it.
01:45So the planter could do the whole paddock with the fertilizer and the seed it had on board.
01:49They just had to get them going back and fall into the truck to fill the water up.
01:52So it was pretty amazing.
01:53One, he got the germination pre-cotton which is a great result.
01:56Two, they worked out that they would continually go and stop.
02:01I thought the cattle crush down there with all the air fittings and electronics and everything was pretty in-invading.
