00:01The event in the capital, Kinshasa, brought together local stylists, fashion designers and sappers, as well as those from the
00:08neighboring Republic of Congo, an opportunity to merge the common cultures of the two countries by honoring music and SAP,
00:16a cultural movement centered around Dundeeism.
00:20So with my creation today, I am celebrating the SAP with the bust of colors, a journey. Today I am
00:27proud as a Congolese. I like to affectionately call it Congolese with a K from the two Congos to present
00:34my skills today through Congo Create, the competition I took part in that has brought me here.
00:39And this collection is one that pays tribute to the great figures of LASAP, Papa Uemba, Rafa Bonzecki, Alfa Blondi.
00:50The designs on display are a fusion of tradition and modernity. Bold prints, bright colors, tailored silhouettes. But the real

01:05What I already find very beautiful about this year is that we're going to see the link between the two
01:10Congos, Congo-Brazzaville and Congo-Kinshasa, and we realize that in their cultural heritage, there is LASAP.

01:30LASAP is a movement born in the 1960s when Congolese men, inspired by colonial-era European fashion, decided to reclaim
01:39their dignity through impeccable dress.
01:42Today, it's a way of life.
01:45LASAP has an identity because when you see Saper, you see Congolese.
01:50It really is our identity.
01:52That's why we wanted to revisit this identity for the sixth edition of the TRC Fashion Week, and at the
01:59same time, bring in the colors of our two countries to say that this is where LASAP comes from.
02:05At this year's event, the two Congos are quietly asserting their cultural wealth while celebrating their creativity, their history, their
02:14diversity, and their style.
02:16Definitely find me in the color of the original quest, and my sort of mom saysan Khala.
02:17Have a walk.
02:19Hey, if second component of these special activities are now,
