00:01Moscow Fashion Week continued in the Russian capital featuring artwork shows from domestic and international brands such as Iniki from Russia's far eastern region of Yakutia and Chinese fashion house Subai.
00:18Designer of Isabella Dodosova of Iniki said her collection was inspired by a children's story. Our brand is participating for the fourth time. The collection will be called Five Eyes. This is a Yakut amulet which is considered the most powerful.
00:37I was also inspired by the fairy tale Boratino. As you can see there is Alice the Fox standing in a far coat. We also have ornaments and fuzz and sorts of futuristic model clothes.
00:52This year's event features more than 200 designers from countries including Armenia, Brazil, China, Guatemala, India, Nicaragua, South Africa and Turkey.
01:07Meanwhile, Maguai of Subai said that Chinese culture was at the forefront of a collection which she hoped would build a bridge between China and Russia. At the same time, it's also a platform for their cultural exchange.
01:24Our brand is inspired by Chinese culture. It is our roots and we use a universal tongue to express it.
01:30The event had kicked off with a catwalk held by the Kremlin wall where models showcased designs by Russian designer Alexander Arutrinov on a bridge next to the historic landmark.
01:47Moscow Fashion Week includes more than 200 brands alongside a small selection of foreign designers such as Armenian brand Loom Weaving and Nicaraguan designer Joseph Mendoza.
02:01The event comes as Russia remains largely isolated and shunned from the Western world due to its invasion of Ukraine highlighting the country's attempt to promote domestic industries amid international condemnation.
02:17Moscow Fashion Week is a free sub- promising frontierloom.
