00:00For the past three years, Sarah Ndele and her friends have been traveling through Kishasa's working-class neighborhoods with their
00:07project Mbutunde Makambu.
00:10Their goal is to reach out to street children and young people living in informal settlements by introducing them to
00:16drawing, painting, music, and dance performances in the hope of helping them reintegrate into the society.
00:27Through this project, we want to show that beyond the danger, the night is also full of realities.
00:33We have created a nighttime space where we can produce work of arts.

00:46We have brought together young people living on the streets and others who live with their families but share the
00:53same passion for arts.
00:54Instead of leaving them to wander the streets at night with nothing meaningful to do, we bring them together to
