00:00I mean, the FCC should be ashamed of themselves.
00:03I mean, they were not created to do what they're doing.
00:06Kimmel came when he went back on the air.
00:08I think the first week he went back on the air, he had come to New York.
00:12And Connie and I went to see him.
00:14And I've never met Jimmy.
00:17But I wrote him a nice email about how thrilled we were to be at the show.
00:22Because he had had all the other late night hosts on the show.
00:26And so I told him how great it was.
00:29And he immediately wrote me back.
00:32And, you know, that's very gratifying to see that.
00:37I mean, even Carson, in his sweet way, would always comment on the news of the day or politics or
00:47politicians and things like that.
00:49I mean, he would do it in a different kind of way and was pretty gentle.
00:53But it's going right to the First Amendment and what it's all about.
00:58It's just unfortunate.
