Watch as a cat accidentally squashes a parrot after the unlikely pair share an unusual moment of friendship.
The amusing footage, filmed by Yu Liangliang in Shanghai, China, shows a grey tabby cat named Doumiao lying on the floor with a bright yellow parrot perched comfortably on its back.
The cat appears completely unfazed by its feathered passenger before slowly rolling onto its side for a stretch.
Caught off guard, the parrot is gently trapped underneath the cat as it completes the roll, turning the peaceful moment into a hilarious surprise.
