00:00Do you think that could have been, like, a moment where guys remembered
00:04that they were playing a kid's game and all the pressure came off them
00:08for a few days, or is that just sort of a fleeting moment
00:10and they'll be back right to it the next time they're at home?
00:12Oh, no, I think you're right.
00:14I think that's a culture shock is what happened.
00:17When you think about it, the day of the game now is all about making money
00:24and making more money.
00:25And then all of a sudden you're playing in a minor league, not even a minor league park,
00:30and you're going up into cornfields, for crying out loud.
00:35It throws you back to the minor leagues.
00:37And you know what?
00:38Maybe it's a little taste of where you came from and what you were in baseball.
00:44Let's face it.
00:45I will tell you this much.
00:46The funnest days of baseball that I played were in the minor leagues,
00:51and it was very simple reasoning.
00:52We all had the same goal.
00:55Everybody was trying to get to the big leagues.
00:57Once you get to the big leagues, like when I played,
01:00it was a little different than today.
01:01You were scared to death to not be able to be there tomorrow.
01:06So every day was a challenge.
01:08I mean, like I talk about like what it felt like to be in the big leagues,
01:13and people will be like, oh, you saw all these cities?
01:16I didn't see crap.
01:18I was so focused in on just playing baseball every night
01:22and trying to stay healthy, so I didn't get sent down.
01:25I think people look at it nowadays, it's like you can have a 70RA in the bullpen
01:29and you're not going anywhere.
01:30I think a game like that could really kind of culture shock anybody.
01:34I think a game like that could really be a good thing.
01:34I think a game like that could really be a good thing.
01:34I think a game like that could really be a good thing.
01:34I think a game like that could really be a good thing.
