01:08G'day guys welcome back to another video we're doing another property tour today this time we're
01:17headed to an area just 15 minutes south of Hua Hin called Khao Tau to check out a villa called
01:25Savannah Hideaway three-bedroom three-bathroom villa which is brand new but it was actually built
01:31in 2019 I think because of the pandemic they weren't able to fill the property but they've
01:38started construction again and they're building this whole complex at Savannah Hideaway which looks
01:43absolutely epic if anybody watched my last property tour I mentioned that I'm not partnering
01:49with the developers or anything or real estate agents I'm just curious what you get for your
01:56money over here in Thailand which I think you guys are too because that video performed really well
02:00and I got some really good feedback so this particular property is starting at 12.9 million
02:06Thai baht which is about 375,000 US dollars or just under 600,000 Australian dollars and it's
02:16available for leasehold if you are a foreigner however if you're a Thai or perhaps if you own
02:22a Thai company then it's available for freehold so you can actually buy the property but if you want
02:27more information on the logistical side of buying property in Thailand and how it all works as far
02:33as the legalities and stuff like that go and check out my last villa tour video I'll leave a link

02:38down below in the description but let's go and check out this villa and see if it is worth the
02:43asking price

03:14Okay, we've just pulled up to the villa here at Savannah Hideaway.
03:19I hope I'm saying that right.
03:22They've actually let me come and take a look.
03:25He said, take as much time as you want.
03:29So we're gonna check out what 12.9 million Thai baht gets you.
03:36Just out of Hua Hin, as I mentioned,
03:39it's in the Khao Tao area, which is,
03:42it's about 15 minutes south of Hua Hin,
03:45but it's actually a really beautiful area.
03:48So far, looking at this pool here.
03:57And this big garage.
03:59Wow, there's a lot of plants.
04:01I'm gonna take my shoes off.
04:03Massive, massive front door that opens up, wow.
04:07And then we have a big open living area here.
04:12Big TV.
04:14Decent sized couch.
04:15It does come fully furnished,
04:17which seems to be pretty normal for Thailand.
04:20Everything seems to come fully furnished.
04:23This is a three bedroom,
04:26three bathroom.
04:27So here we have bedroom number three,
04:32which is honestly a pretty decent size.
04:35It looks like a double bed in here.
04:38There's a big window.
04:40Obviously air conditioning,
04:42super important here in Thailand.
04:44And there's a little desk area here
04:47where you can work and a massive mirror.
04:51Lots of cupboard space,
04:53wardrobe space.
04:54There's also adjoining guest bathroom.
04:58So there's two doors.
05:00There's one in the guest room
05:01and then another door from the living room.
05:05Wow, the guest bathroom's huge.
05:07My voice is probably echoing a lot in there.
05:09Onto bedroom number two,
05:11which is massive.
05:13This is bigger than our master bedroom
05:16in our villa.
05:18It's got a huge desk area here,
05:22which this would be perfect
05:23if you're somebody who works from home
05:25and you want to just work in one of the spare rooms.
05:28You could turn this into a study
05:29or something if you want.
05:32And a decent sized bathroom.
05:34It's got an en suite,
05:35which is pretty cool.
05:37I also noticed that the bedrooms have ceiling fans.
05:40That's one thing I feel like is missing in our villa.
05:44Sometimes we don't want to have air conditioning running.
05:46We just want to have some air going.
05:49Wow, open kitchen and dining area.
05:51There's just so much window space
05:53and lights in this property.
05:56This side door here opens up
06:00and you've got probably 12 foot high hedges
06:04running along the whole exterior of the property.
06:07It looks like storage room or something.
06:10Oh, that's the laundry
06:12and it has a little mini bar fridge.
06:15That's cool.
06:16The drinks.
06:16Some nice art on the walls too.
06:18I'm pretty sure that would all come with it.
06:20I think everything you see in here comes with it.
06:23I really like this kitchen set up.
06:25There's enough room here for like three people
06:28to sit comfortably while somebody's cooking.
06:31So if you've got friends around.
06:32There's also a massive dining room table.
06:35Four burner electric cooktop.
06:38Everything looks super modern and luxurious.
06:42Oh, a dishwasher.
06:44A dishwasher.
06:45I haven't seen one of them in a while.
06:46I'd love to own a dishwasher.
06:48Very nice fridge and oven.
06:53Plenty of storage space.

08:27Wow.
08:30What a view from the master bedroom.
08:33Imagine waking up to that every day.
08:38So when you drive in you'll notice that there is a lot of villas in this complex
08:44but it's very very private because as I mentioned
08:47there's like 12 foot high hedges surrounding the whole perimeter.
08:52Like nobody, even if you had your curtains drawn all day
08:57nobody can see in here I'm pretty sure anyway.
08:59It doesn't feel like it.
09:01Huge, huge shelf space in the master bedroom.
09:04You could put books in there, pictures, vases, like whatever you want.
09:09Another desk in this bedroom as well.
09:12So there's like three different workspaces.
09:14If you are somebody who works from home.
09:17A huge mirror.
09:19And look at this walk-in wardrobe.
09:25Oh.
09:27Wee shit.
09:29Oh look at the bathroom too.
09:32So this walk-in wardrobe looks very luxurious and big.
09:39There's enough room for way too many shoes and clothes.
09:43And it's got a bathtub which is amazing.
09:47Looks like a pretty decent size too.
09:50I like the shower with the rainfall shower head.
09:56I really like the doors.
09:58All the doors here are sliding doors.
10:02And they're like got a little bit of weight to them.
10:04Which tells you they're actually high quality.
10:07Let's go out into the backyard because this looks like a really big backyard.
10:16This opens up all the way.
10:21So you can have basically the whole house opened up.
10:27If you don't want to have air con running all day.
10:30You can have all this fresh air coming in.
10:33That's pretty cool.
10:34Now one thing he did tell me.
10:37This pool is a salt water pool.
10:41Which I think is amazing.
10:43Because chlorine is not great for you.
10:46As much as I love swimming in our pool.
10:48And I love taking Bear in the pool.
10:50And I love taking Lila in the pool.
10:52Unfortunately I don't love chlorine.
10:54And every time I get out of the pool.
10:56I feel like I need to just wash myself very thoroughly.
11:00Because I actually feel a little bit dirty coming out of the pool.
11:03You got a really cool outdoor shower here.
11:06Which is nice.
11:07And all these palm trees.
11:09Wow.
11:10Oh.
11:10I've just spotted there's a rooftop patio up there.
11:14There's about six or seven palm trees in here.
11:17And a massive yard.
11:19Wow.
11:20Yeah.
11:20I really like this place so far.
11:23And for 12.9 million baht.
11:25I mean if you're converting that to Australian dollars.
11:28It's probably around 500,000.
11:32I'm guessing.
11:33I'll probably have to put the conversions down below.
11:36But.
11:36They do go up as high as 15 or 16 million baht.
11:41So.
11:41That just depends on the size.
11:43And the layout.
11:44Of the villa.
11:46Whoa.
11:48This is sick.
11:51You can see the ocean from here.
11:53You've got the hills of Hua Hin behind us.
11:55And then in this direction you've got the ocean.
11:59And still feels really private.
12:01You could put an outdoor lounge area up here.
12:04And have a couple of cocktails in the afternoon.
12:06And have some music going.
12:07And I don't think you'd be disturbing anybody.
12:10Yeah.
12:11This is pretty cool.
12:13Got a little bit of a.
12:15Backyard.
12:16I guess.
12:16As well.
12:17As a front yard.
12:18Just down the side here.
12:20Plenty of room.
12:21For pets.
12:22Or animals.
12:23If you have any.
12:23It's in here.
12:26Hot water unit.
12:28It's a big outdoor entertaining area.
12:30You could throw a party here.
12:32You could.
12:33Have family over.
12:34If they come visit.
12:35And just relax.
12:37All afternoon.
12:37It's not too hot here.
12:39There's like a nice breeze coming from the ocean.
12:41We're not that far from the beach.
12:43Also.
12:43Just.
12:44A couple hundred meters down the road.
12:46From.
12:47This complex.
12:48Is another complex called.
12:50Sivana Gardens.
12:51Which was built.
12:53A little while ago.
12:53That was the first one they built.
12:55It has an Indian restaurant.
12:57A gym.
12:58I think it has a sauna.
13:00It's got like a pool table.
13:02An outdoor.
13:03Like a.
13:03Just a communal.
13:05Entertaining area.
13:06And.
13:06You can actually use.
13:07All of that.
13:08If you're living at the.
13:09Savannah.
13:10Hideaway.
13:10But.
13:11Danny.
13:12Did tell me.
13:12That.
13:13They're actually building.
13:14A gym.
13:15And.
13:16All those sorts of facilities here.
13:18Which will be even better.
13:19And then they've got another project.
13:21That they're building.
13:22Which is called.
13:23Savannah.
13:24I can't remember what that one's called.
13:26I have to ask him.
13:26But.
13:27They're actually going to build.
13:28Pickleball court.
13:30In.
13:30That one.
13:31And so.
13:31Anyone.
13:32Owning.
13:33This particular property.
13:34Will have access to.
13:35All of those amenities.
13:37Because.
13:38It's included.
13:38In the sale.

14:09To what we would find.
14:10Back home.
14:11In Australia.
14:12Or Canada.
14:13I really.

14:14The area.
14:15That it's in.
14:15It's tucked away.
14:16Behind the highway.
14:17In a nice.
14:18Quiet area.
14:19Like it's.
14:19It's about.
14:20Two o'clock.
14:20In the afternoon.
14:21On a Saturday.
14:22And I can't hear a thing.
14:23Except.
14:23The water.
14:24And the pool.
14:25And a little bit.
14:25Of a breeze.
14:26Other than that.
14:27It's completely silent.
14:28And the weather's perfect.
14:30I can definitely see myself.
