SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.- Un joven de 27 años perdió la vida tras recibir múltiples disparos la mañana de este domingo, en un hecho registrado cerca de la entrada de la comunidad Cuaba, en esta ciudad.  La víctima fue identificada como Joel Muñoz, conocido por sus allegados como "El Jebo".  Según el testimonio de su madre, Lucía Almanzar, el hecho ocurrió mientras el joven se encontraba en su residencia. "Él estaba en su casa y lo llamaron... fue para la cocinita y ahí mismo me lo emprendieron a tiros", relató con evidente consternación la progenitora.  Almanzar explicó que sospecha de dos individuos vestidos de negro y con abrigo que se presentaron en el lugar antes de disparar contra su hijo. Asimismo, entre lágrimas e impotencia, la madre clamó por justicia a las autoridades tras la trágica pérdida.  El caso se encuentra en manos de los organismos correspondientes y agentes de investigación, quienes realizan los levantamientos de lugar para esclarecer el móvil del hecho y dar con el paradero de los responsables.
