SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS. — Una mujer identificada como Agustina Germán denunció públicamente a su hijo, Sandy Candelario, de 46 años, luego de haber encontrado un arma de fuego de fabricación casera (conocida popularmente como «chilena») oculta entre sus pertenencias.

Según relató la Sra. Germán, el hecho ocurrió en el sector Naranjo Dulce, al lado de la escuela nueva. Tras notar una actitud sospechosa en su hijo mientras revisaba un saco de ropa, decidió inspeccionar el lugar y encontró el artefacto bélico.

La denunciante manifestó que su hijo amenazó con que «algo iba a pasar» en la vivienda y lanzó advertencias de muerte. Ante el temor por su integridad física, alertó a las autoridades locales, lo que derivó en la posterior detención del individuo por parte de agentes policiales.

Solicitó a las autoridades una orden de alejamiento para salvaguardar su vida, expresando que le teme cuando este se encuentra bajo los efectos del alcohol o sustancias.

El padre del detenido señaló que su hijo es un hombre trabajador, pero que al consumir bebidas alcohólicas o al alterarse transforma su conducta, provocando situaciones de riesgo e intranquilidad familiar.
