00:00Torrey Holt, coach, you know, his name gets brought up all the time now for Hall of Fame consideration.
00:06I looked at the numbers between Andre Reid and no shade and no disrespect to Andre Reid at all.
00:11But I look at Torrey Holt's numbers and I go, what am I missing here, coach?
00:15Seventh time pro bowler.
00:17I mean, he's got the numbers.
00:19He's got over a thousand recept.
00:21I mean, the guy's got everything that you need.
00:24What's the holdup in your opinion?
00:26Because him not being in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
00:29Well, he's the fastest guy to 10,000 yards in the history of the league.
00:32He's had six 1,300-yard seasons.
00:35Nobody's ever done that consecutively.
00:37He's done things that nobody's even come close to doing.
00:40It's a political thing.
00:42The three guys that kind of run that committee or head it up have said that we've got too many
00:49guys from that offense in the Hall of Fame.
00:51They've made that comment a couple of times, which just irks me.
00:55And Peter King, for some reason, has blasted Torrey and says he doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame.
01:01Why or how?
01:03I'd like to talk to Peter about this.
01:05What's that based on?
01:06It can't be based.
01:07Here's the thing that bothers me the most.
01:08They say, well, you're on this team with all this talent.
01:11Well, that makes it even harder because if you're throwing the ball to Oz and to Isaac Bruce and Marshall
01:20Falk, then there's less opportunities for you.
01:22So to stand out with all that other talent is pretty remarkable.
01:25To me, it's an argument that he should be in.
01:27But it's probably the biggest travesty in all of football right now that he's not in the Hall of Fame.
01:33Wow, that's a great comment there.
01:36Marshall Falk, how important, Coach, was Marshall Falk to the engine of the greatest show on turf?
01:43Well, he was the greatest show on turf.
01:45You know, without him, we're a good team, but we're not a great team.
01:49And you go back and look at the plays that he made at key moments for us to win games.
01:53You know, the NFC Championship against Philadelphia is a great example.
01:57We come out in the second half and hand him the ball 22 times.
02:00He gets two touchdowns and we went to go to the Super Bowl.
02:03So he put the team on his back at times and he'd answer.
02:08Yeah, I think he's the primary reason we were such a dynamic offense and such a good football team.
