00:00Pretty good matchup last night there, J.Y.
00:02I mean, you had two former number one overall selections go at each other there.
00:07And, you know, Fever versus Wings last night, Clark versus Beckers.
00:12I mean, that's kind of what the NBA should be promoting and selling, you know.
00:15It's a matchup what we saw last night.
00:19Yeah, Big Sills, great to be on with you.
00:21This is the matchup that they need to be selling in the league.
00:25And you have the two premier guards, the two premier players in regards to popularity.
00:31Part of that because of the rivalry that goes back to when they were coming out.
00:36You've got to remember that I think Caitlin Clark was number four in that high school class.
00:42I think, if I'm not mistaken, when Paige Beckers, Cameron Brink, Angel Reese, and then Caitlin Clark.
00:49These two have battled each other, obviously playing in the final four.
00:53So, this is the matchup that we wanted.
00:55And this is what the WNBA needs to be focused on, is focusing on these matchups.
01:00And, really, we got a great one last night.
01:04I think the thing that's really important for me that I got out of it, the most important stat, Big
01:09Sills, to me, is what?
01:13That's the number of turnovers that Caitlin Clark had last night.
01:16And I think that is something that has bothered her at times, is that turnover bug.
01:23But, for her, she had 11 of 18.
01:26You know, didn't shoot the ball great from three, but 10 assists, one turnover.
01:30That was fantastic basketball.
01:32And Paige Beckers, as well.
01:33She only had two turnovers.
01:34So, you have these guards that have high usage rates that don't turn the ball over and match like this.
01:39These are the matchups that you want to see and play.
01:43But you also got to give a shout-out to, obviously, Kelsey Mitchell.
01:46When Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark score in the 20s, and they keep their turnovers down,
01:53especially with Aaliyah Boston, Big Sills, they can beat anybody in that league.
02:03They got to keep the turnovers down.
02:04Did the shootout at a good clip, but a great performance offensively by the Indiana Fever, scoring 98 points.
02:11Is Stephanie White the right coach for Caitlin Clark and for that Indiana Fever team?
02:19I've seen Stephanie White coaching this league a long time.
02:22Got to remember, Big Sills, she's won a ring.
02:24And she's had a rough week.
02:27It started with the Carrington foul and almost Stephanie White in a weird way,
02:32like almost defending her, and then that turned the whole crowd against you.
02:37You got to be able to play the role of, you know, like a wrestling, you know wrestling, like a
02:44baby face.
02:45You cannot, in a press conference, when it's Sophie Cunningham, almost defend the other team's player.
02:54Not with that fan base.
02:56Stephanie White, who's a veteran, has got to be better.
02:58But shout out to Kelsey Mitchell, and shout out to Caitlin Clark, because they kind of stepped up and defended
03:05Stephanie White.
03:06That was what I took away, is those players backed her up in the locker room.
03:11As long as they back her up, she's going to be good.
03:14But I'm going to say this.
03:15There's immense pressure on that team to win.
03:18They're only, I think they're only one game out of the loss column for third.
03:22Three games out of the loss column for second.
03:24So let's see what kind of run they can make.
03:26But if they disappoint, could she be out of a job?
03:30And do you go to Toronto and say, give me Sandy Bordello as a coach, another veteran coach, someone that
03:37also Caitlin respects a lot.
03:40There was an interesting picture last year in New York when Sandy Bordello was a coach.
03:44And it was, I think it was Bordello, Caitlin Clark, Inescu, and Stewie all huddled up.
03:50And I always have a mental note of the respect that Caitlin Clark has for Sandy Bordello.
