01:06him. I never knew Jason Arday that well but he came to me a year ago because this has been

01:11on to him for three and a half years. As soon as he became professor at Cambridge there were those
01:16people who didn't believe there should be a black person in that role. Arday was 37 when he became
01:20Cambridge's youngest black professor in 2023. He resigned after he came under intense media pressure
01:26with weeks of allegations about plagiarism in his academic work. He denied plagiarism but admitted
01:32to some mistake when working on his doctorate to some mistake when working on his doctorate.
