00:04we're gonna be opening up my 1 million play button from YouTube and this is super exciting. I
00:10scratched off obviously my address but this is the YouTube play button. This is what we get for
00:16hitting 1 million. You can't see it but right over there I might grab it in a second but right
00:20over
00:20there I have my 100,000. It took about three extra years to get to the 1 million. It took
00:26a long time
00:27so what we're gonna be doing is we're gonna be opening up this play button taking a look at it
00:32just doing an unboxing talking about you know the journey to 1 million subscribers and then at the
00:37end I might have a little surprise for you but you gotta stick around in order to get to that.
00:41This
00:42is not gonna be my typical video. This is just a video for you guys just to see you know
00:48opening this

03:20This they must have changed uh how they're making these because this is much lighter. But it is nice
03:26nonetheless. All right we did it. This is super exciting. Uh this is awesome. I absolutely love this.
03:34I am just. It's cool. It's a gold play button. It's like I don't know some matte finish. It just
03:40looks like some meddling. Then it has these little hooks on the back to hang it. I'm just going to
03:44put
03:45it uh right back here honestly. It's going to go right there. Then I may move it around uh but

03:59video. I just want to say uh genuinely and I it I've had a lot of people reach out. Sorry

04:13congratulations. Like you're an awesome channel. You've helped me so much in my career. And I
04:18promise you I appreciate every single one of those messages. I would not be here if it wasn't for you
04:23guys. I mean a million subscribers is huge. That's insane. I never in my life thought I would
04:30actually reach a million subscribers. When I first started out I was like if I could hit a thousand
04:34that'd be nuts. Then when I hit a hundred thousand with the silver one that was like mind-blowing. I
04:40was
04:40like there's no way I get to a million maybe in like 10 years. But here we are after five
04:46years and we
04:47hit a million and it just feels kind of surreal. Um and my kids love it. My wife loves it.
04:51And uh they
04:52haven't seen that yet. I just opened it live. So I'll show that to the kids tonight and they'll be
04:57super excited. Um with all that being said there's not a huge amount of things that are going to change
05:03about the channel. Uh honestly I'm just gonna be bringing different content. I have a lot of
05:07different series coming up. We have our R series. We have our uh how to lie with data series that
05:12we're
05:12currently in. We're gonna have a series on git and github. And then I'll even be doing a series on
05:18like
05:18apis and data pipelines and some even data engineering stuff in the future. That may be
05:22towards the end of this year. So I have a ton of really awesome stuff coming to the channel.
05:27Nothing's gonna change though besides that. I mean the millions just a number. Uh other than that
05:31all things are firing on all cylinders. They're all gonna be you know the good content that you've come
05:36to expect on this channel. And I will do my best to bring you the best data related content and
05:41tutorials that I possibly can. So thank you guys so much for supporting me all these years. It really does
05:47mean the
