00:00The story is set in Orkney, a place that I absolutely love and adore.
00:05Orkney is very much at the heart of the story.
00:07It's almost like a character in itself, I guess.
00:09But it's also about relationships.
00:11It's about one woman's journey.
00:13She has to leave Orkney where she's supported, she's part of a community.
00:16And she has to come down south where she's rootless
00:19and doesn't really know how to find herself.
00:23And she has to go through that whole process of going back to Orkney
00:27and reconnecting with people and reconnecting with her community
00:31and finding some sort of contentment.
00:33And part of the way that she does that is through a group of women and men
00:37who do wild water swimming, which is a huge thing that I do.
00:41So I wanted to bring my passion for that to the story as well.
00:45It's been hard.
00:48It's been really hard, but it's been so rewarding.
00:51And I really hope that you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it.
