00:07season six finale. The season finale finally revealed the identity of the fourth man as all
00:12loose ends were tied up with an AC-12's operation. Oh, I'm so sad it's over. So sad. Don't know
00:22what
00:22I'm gonna do, but I enjoyed it. I thought it was a good episode. See, I know why you're saying
00:28it
00:29like, oh, it was a good episode, but you're not like, ah, because I think, you know, we've just
00:34had so many theories and predictions thrown at us over the last few weeks. You know, like the race
00:41claim is an anagram for Patricia Carmichael with the letter H left over. And like, you know, there's
00:45more to Chloe Bishop than what meets the eye. There was still a little bit there where it was like,
00:49I think I just missed the shock element. I think I was waiting for something that would make me go
00:54like, the reveal being that it was Buckles all along. He always knew more than he let on,
01:03but I don't think, I mean, I was surprised I wouldn't have pinned him as the fourth man,
01:07I don't think, because I think, I mean, that again, that's kind of the beauty of it because he kind
01:12of
01:12played the fool in a way, you know, he was always this kind of dope, you know, this dopey officer
01:17that
01:18would do things wrong and just wants to finish and get to the pub. Whereas actually, as Ted said,
01:24he's living, he was living a double life and he hoodwinked everyone. Yeah. I mean, you know,
01:29and it does totally make sense because he has been popping up throughout season one, basically.
01:34So it does make sense that it would be him. Since season one, since he first was working on
01:38Tony Gates's team has only ever been promoted. And he only could have achieved that while being,
01:45you know, a new ringleader of an ACG by having people behind him. So I'm still,
01:49I'm still on my Osborn theory. I guess if season seven happens,
01:53which presumably they'll want it to, because it's been such a massive success,
01:57where can it go from here? I think it will start with a new case
02:02and perhaps have touches back to old cases, kind of like they've always done. But yeah,
02:08I think a new, a new fresh start would be good. We finally found out exactly what happened with
02:14John Corbett and Lee Banks. And, and, you know, because I guess we all suspected like it was
02:21basically we knew what happened, but just the fact that he was extremely remorseful about it
02:26and that he went to Carmichael and said, basically handed himself in. It's actually really nice because
02:34the finale did serve as a redemption, I think. And I think it restored Steve and Kate's trust in him
02:40as well. Steve's kind of gotten to the end of his line with his painkiller addiction,
02:45but it's actually, I think it's like, it didn't go as badly as he thought it would go. You know,
02:49like it's basically, he's not been fired. He's just going to be getting the help that he needs.
02:55I think it ended in the perfect way, i.e. he found out that Ted was, you know, had his
03:00back the whole
03:01time. He's still just as badass as ever with his little taser. Oh my God, yes. So good.
03:09You, you, you still, this is a great look for you, Steve. How funny in other news is it that
03:15Marcus Thurwall is actually dead. James Nesbitt is not coming into it, unless there's something else
03:21happens in season seven, but basically it's very much confirmed. He's actually dead. Can't believe
03:26it. You know, when they just took the random pictures of him, was that like on the Bloodland
03:29set? Yeah, possibly, because they were filming at the same time and both in Belfast.
03:35Jo Davidson, with all the H stuff, even though she's the main guest star of the series and the
03:40big mystery of the series, it's like by the last episode, I guess it's like her story arc isn't
03:44really that important because we find out that she's born in a much larger game. And yeah,
03:50and basically it concludes with that, you know, she's been coerced all her life and now she's in
03:55witness protection in a really gorgeous house. Yeah, she's doing all right now.
04:00Yeah, and she's just got the things that she wanted and deserved. So like really nice looking
04:06for a guest star, which I think is quite unusual. Yeah, because normally the guest star, when they
04:12come in, they either go to prison or they end up dead because they've been doing their own sort of
04:20great at the beginning, how we all kind of knew that she was going to be the main suspect throughout
04:26the whole thing. And then when they were moving her from the prison, I was so convinced that she
04:29was going to die. I was so convinced that it was going to be another sort of Jimmy Lakewell
04:33system scenario, but she was actually going to get shot or something. And I thought, oh God,
04:37it's going to be another John Corbett moment where the new person dies. But actually,
04:41I think, I think, I think it was better that it ended the way it did actually with her.
