00:03Hello, and welcome back to Hello Insider, where we're going to be talking about Line
00:06of Duty, Episode 3. Things are getting so juicy. Drama with Steve, drama with Kate,
00:12I mean, even Ted had his fair share this episode.
00:15God give me strength, I don't know who to believe.
00:20Francesca, what did you think?
00:22So good. There is so much to unpack, and it's literally getting better and better every week.
00:29So I think we need to start things off with Steve, because this is a big episode for him.
00:33So many times through that episode, my heart, I really feel for him.
00:37But I think when the first lot of jugs test came in, it felt like it was kind of Hastings
00:42giving him a bit of a heads up.
00:43I really hope that it's going to then make him sort of turn around and really turn a corner with
00:49it.
00:49But then when the second jugs test came in, we don't yet know the result of that could be tricky.
00:54I want to address as well the fact that Steve's entire pool of relationships tends to come through dodgy connections
01:02with his work,
01:02rather than like, can the man just not go on Tinder?
01:05They do seem like they're really good for each other.
01:08So I just don't know how I feel about that.
01:10Casanova's back.
01:13I love Casanova Steve.
01:15He does then go and search her house for Ted Hastings money, which he finds.
01:22So I think it's really interesting that they've both been hit with their own brand of corruption in a way.
01:28It's not that he's necessarily corrupt.
01:31It's just that, you know, they're all human and they've all got their own issues and their own reasons why
01:36they've got stuff to hide.
01:37Probably the biggest moment of the episode, which was Ryan trying to kill off poor Terry.
01:42It was enough for Kate to realise that all is not what it seems in MIT, which definitely was needed.
01:50That Ryan is the world's worst liar.
01:53When he was chatting to Kate and was like, oh, I thought it was a gunman.
01:56Oh, I was wrong.
01:57Oh, I thought it was a crash.
01:59Oh, I was wrong.
02:00He is the worst liar.
02:01But it's so frustrating because he's obviously, he obviously knows he's being protected.
02:04Yeah, it was Buckles that arranged for Ryan to go onto the team.
02:09Well, as far as that's what Joe said.
02:12The shot of him in the office, like with the golf club.
02:14I was like, there's too obvious.
02:16I know.
02:16There's too obvious to go involved.
02:18And so I think it's more likely that Joe's trying to frame him for him to be the fool guy,
02:22I reckon.
02:23At the moment you see Joe using that chat messenger that's like linked to hate.
02:28So it can't be Buckles or Buckles is just a small part of it because there's still someone on the
02:33other end of that chat.
02:35Exactly.
02:36Exactly.
02:36And we're yet to find out who that is.
02:38And I cannot wait personally.
02:40Can't wait for the next episode.
02:42Thank you so much for joining us this week.
02:44And feel free to join us next week where we'll be talking about all things episode four.
