00:02Welcome back to Hello's Insider, where we're going to be talking about Line of Duty Episode 2.
00:08Operation Lighthouse is getting more and more juicy.
00:11We're seeing AC12's net tighten around the MIT,
00:14and Jo is starting to find herself under some serious suspicion.
00:18Anquiry authorised.
00:23Literally on the edge of my seat watching that.
00:26It was so good.
00:28I mean, I wish I knew what it all meant.
00:31The fact that Jo, in the final moments of the episode,
00:34has to go to a secret location and pick up a burner phone,
00:38and it's basically like, okay, so she is under suspicion,
00:42she's planned this whole thing, she's completely framed her poor ex-girlfriend.
00:48So I think it's definitely possible that she's being framed into doing all of this
00:53rather than being, like, eternally corrupt.
00:56I reckon she's got stuff that she wants to hide,
00:59but she's ended up being in this tangled web of lies,
01:03and it's just getting bigger and bigger and bigger, I reckon.
01:06Absolutely.
01:06Ryan's back. Season one Ryan, who we know he's in the OCG,
01:11and now he's in the police force.
01:13Given that she needed taking to her car for a specific reason,
01:16and that was when she picked up the burner phone,
01:19and it happened to be Ryan that picked her up in me.
01:23Very true.
01:23I have my suspicions about Ryan, and I think that Kate recognises him as well.
01:28That's going to all come out.
01:29Okay, well, let's talk about Kate then, because she committed the ultimate betrayal against AC-12,
01:34so leads you to think that she is fully, fully in Joe's corner,
01:39because she gave the heads up that AC-12 are about to investigate the case.
01:44I like to think that Kate is leading the, is, you know, doing the long game,
01:48and is trying to keep AC-12 on the side, because there was a really good moment
01:50where she was in the corridor and called up Steve and said,
01:53I'm damned if I do, and I'm damned if I don't.
01:55And can I also point out that we got our first Tedism of the season
01:59with his bent coppers quote.
02:02Bent coppers.
02:03You almost hear the nation cheering as he said the word.
02:07Yeah. Yeah, it was so good.
02:08That's raises back.
02:09He's got a really good new one as well, which is like,
02:11she's cooked the goose. I'm like, that's, that's amazing.
02:15What is the motive for Gail Valis murder?
02:18You've been doing this job long enough to realise we can never know for sure.
02:22Who killed her?
02:24It was definitely the OCG.
02:26But then, was it the OCG and a top dog at the, at the top of the police?
02:34She's always there in the corner.
02:35Every single case they've ever uncovered, she's been there reporting on it.
02:39So I, yeah, there's definitely a police officer that's going to get in trouble this series.
02:43Thank you so much for joining us.
