00:08This episode revealed so much about police corruption and got us one step closer to H,
00:13and obviously ended in an explosive cliffhanger with the face-off between Kate and Ryan.
00:22Oh my god, those last moments, like, what did you think? Who's dead? Who's alive?
00:27This show needs to come with a health warning because my blood pressure just hasn't recovered.
00:35I was so, I, like, audibly screamed. I was so on the edge in that moment.
00:41The beginning of the episode followed on from the cliffhanger of Episode 4,
00:45where we found out that Jo Davidson is a family relation to Tommy Hunter.
00:50Yeah.
00:51Obviously raises a lot of eyebrows in AC12.
00:54I think it definitely makes her vulnerable because even if, even if, you know,
00:58she wants to join the police with the most honest intentions,
01:01if she has that connection, that family tie, then it makes her vulnerable to blackmail.
01:08Who do we think is misspelling definitely behind that chat?
01:13It's like, it's the big clue. It's the fourth man. It's H.
01:16Do bear with us because at the end of this video, we're going to be doing all the theories.
01:20One of my big suspicions is that Patricia Carmichael, who has come back in and is mixing things up,
01:27is in league with everyone. I do not trust that woman.
01:31It's like, maybe she is the one that's telling, telling Jo to get the job done with Kate.
01:35Because I can't believe it would be Ted.
01:37I'm sure we can all work together nicely.
01:40I don't want to believe it. I don't want to believe it.
01:42And also, I think that actually would make a lot of sense because if she knows about the Gale murder
01:47case,
01:49Operation Lighthouse, and she knows that AC-12 is still investigating,
01:52then that actually is a pretty good shout.
01:54It could be, you know, she's in the know about everything.
01:57The new chief officer, chief constable, who's Philip Osborne.
02:02And that he's involved in the murder of Lawrence Christopher.
02:08And that is what Gale Vela was looking into, which brings us to a new, very exciting, famous character.
02:14Basically, they were all involved with the murder of Lawrence Christopher.
02:19And that sort of led them to looking out for each other.
02:22And basically, we're thinking that this is the centre of who H is.
02:26Like, this is going to be totally...
02:28They're so close to finding out the identity of H now.
02:31The OCG was running, like, even earlier than any of us thought.
02:36You know, back in 2002-2003, whenever Lawrence Christopher was murdered in police custody.
02:42Because one of the people we then found out that was then received a new identity was Tommy Hunter's son.
02:50So, we have been loving all of your comments on YouTube and on social media
02:56about your biggest theories into Lion of Duty, basically.
02:59So, we wanted to talk about some of them.
03:01First of all, first and foremost being, is Chloe Bishop to be trusted?
03:06I personally don't think she is a vent copper.
03:11I don't know if I'm ignoring the signs.
03:13I just, I can't help but think that she is an honest DS that, you know, is looking...
03:20You know, she was quite, you know, visibly affected by the case that they were looking into, as anyone would
03:26and should be.
03:27I think it must be always difficult for a new person to come in, because it happens every season.
03:31The newest person comes in, you think, oh, you're dodgy.
03:34But actually, I kind of think that Chloe's probably a good egg, I reckon.
03:40I reckon, anyway.
03:40You think she's Tony Gates's daughter?
03:43Yeah, there's been so much of that, hasn't there?
03:46Yeah, I mean, I think it's quite an interesting theory.
03:49And I think it would be, I think it would be quite a cool link back to the earlier series.
03:54Looking back at Tony's case, you know, he was essentially blackmailed.
03:59He wasn't trying to cover up, well, obviously trying to cover up Jackie Laverty's crime.
04:04But he didn't know her involvement with the OCG, and he wasn't trying to cover up police corruption in the
04:10way that we think about it now.
04:12He was essentially a victim of the OCG himself.
04:15So I'm not sure that's enough to convince me, really.
04:18What about Chris in MIT?
04:21There's something a bit off about him.
04:24Yeah, I have to say, I'm more suspicious of him than I am Chloe, I reckon.
04:27I think there was a bit, there was the bit where Kate asked them all to hand in their phones.
04:32And he just, he just really protested against it.
04:35And I just kind of think, well, you're, you know, a senior detective.
04:39You know that there's been leaks from your team about a really important operation.
04:44Would you not kind of be quite willing to hand in your phone?
04:47You're only going to not have it for the rest of the day, you know.
04:49And a lot of people have been saying as well that he's very, he's very similar in character to Doc
04:55as well.
04:56Yeah, yeah.
04:57Caddy Brown too.
04:59Exactly.
04:59That's kind of look alike.
05:00We've got to talk about Ted because it's, I mean, we knew it anyway, but Steve got it confirmed
05:08that the 50 grand that Steph has is money from the OCG that Ted gave her.
05:14And now the motive, according to Lee Banks, is because Ted told Lee when we saw him visit him in
05:20prison
05:21that there was a rat in their OCG.
05:26And they obviously worked out it was John Corbett.
05:27And then obviously the guilt meant that Ted gave his widow the money.
05:33It's like, have we got the wrong end of the stick somehow?
05:37Is it like, because it's just like, is Ted bent?
05:39Is he a bent copper?
05:40I agree with you.
05:41I think we've probably got the wrong end of the stick.
05:43And I think also people need to remember that in series five, John Corbett, I mean, John
05:48and Ted have many personal issues between each other that I think is more of the driving
05:54force behind both of their actions than really the OCG and covering up police corruption.
06:00I think they just had a vendetta against each other for various reasons, you know, because
06:04obviously they both grew up.
06:05I think it was in Belfast, wasn't it?
06:06The connections went back to Belfast, maybe, so maybe there was more to it in there, but
06:10I can't, but I, yeah, I think it's just because I just love Ted so much.
06:13I just don't want him to be the main guy.
06:16It'll just break my heart.
06:17It's not good behaviour from Ted.

06:21Who is H to you right now?

06:24I just, I really, I really genuinely don't know.
06:27I think, I think Osborne's a really good potential candidate for it because as, as we know,
06:35he was there since the beginning.
06:36Yeah, I don't, I don't think it's going to be someone new because I think people would
06:42want it to stem back further.
06:44Yeah.
