00:00Do you think the DOJ should prosecute Dr. Fauci?
00:03Well, you know, they prosecuted Peter Navarro and they prosecuted Steve Bannon,
00:09two very decent people, over something that essentially was never prosecuted before.
00:15And there are sort of telltale signs of similarity.
00:20And they went to jail for a number of months over something that they,
00:26I saw one of the analysts said they used to laugh at it in the Justice Department
00:30when something like that was referred.
00:34But Merrick Garland prosecuted two very decent people and sent them to jail.
00:40I wasn't president. I would have given him a pardon in two seconds.
00:43But I wasn't. It was after I left.
00:45They waited till after I left and then they prosecuted these two people.
00:49And they ought to be ashamed of themselves.
00:51So when you see that happen, you sort of say maybe he should.
00:54I know Max very well, but it's very, very sad that a situation like that takes place.
01:01Do you think the DOJ should prosecute Dr. Fauci?
01:05Well, you know, they prosecuted Peter Navarro and they prosecuted Steve Bannon,
01:11two very decent people, over something that essentially was never prosecuted before.
01:17And there are sort of telltale signs of similarity.
01:22And they went to jail for a number of months over something that they,
01:28I saw one of the analysts said they used to laugh at it in the Justice Department
01:32when something like that was referred.
01:35But Merritt Garland prosecuted two very decent people and sent them to jail.
01:41I wasn't president.
01:43I would have given him a pardon in two seconds.
01:45But I wasn't.
01:46It was after I left.
01:47They waited till after I left.
01:48And then they prosecuted these two people.
01:51And they ought to be ashamed of themselves.
01:53So when you see that happen, you sort of say, maybe he should.
01:56What he did is far more serious than a lot of crimes, frankly.
02:00But they prosecuted two people when nothing like that has ever taken place before.
02:06Mr. President.
02:07Mr. President, on munitions, you posted overnight that the U.S. has a massive amount.
02:12That's right.
02:12You denied that there were any shortages.
02:15There is a supplemental request for $21 billion to restock.
02:19So why is that request still there?
02:23Well, because we need more all the time.
02:26I mean, we need more.
02:26Look, we gave a tremendous amount to Ukraine.
02:30The Biden people did.
02:32And they were given free of charge.
02:34No charge.
02:36No charge.
02:37Billions.
02:37Hundreds of billions of dollars.
02:40And fortunately, I built up so much during my term.
02:44I rebuilt the military and also loaded it up with a lot of stuff.
02:47We have certain types of munitions that are very powerful, that we have unlimited, virtual unlimited supply.
02:55We have others where it's a little bit tighter.
02:57And we're getting them in on a daily basis.
03:01As you know, our defense companies are building more plans right now than at any point in history.
03:05They're building plans for the Patriots, for the Tomahawks, for everything.
03:08But we have certain types of munitions, which are very, they may not be as accurate.
03:15They may not be, you know, they're not as elite.
03:18We have elite too, but we're watching that very closely.
03:22But we have certain types which are very powerful and very good.
03:27And we have an unlimited supply.
03:30And so we're in great shape.
03:33But with that being said, we always want more.
03:37We have to have more.
03:38We have other things maybe come up.
03:39Maybe come up and maybe don't come up.
03:41Hopefully nothing else does come up.
03:43But we're in very good shape.
03:45We have literally massive amounts of ammunition.
03:48Yeah.
03:49Mr. President, on Ukraine, President Zelensky says his country desperately needs long-range missiles or those Patriot missile batteries.
03:57Is that something that...
03:58Well, I mean, we want missiles too.
04:00You know, we, when Biden gave him so much, Biden gave $300 billion worth of ammunition.
04:07You know, when I left, it was full.
04:10And he gave a lot of it away.
04:11Now we're rebuilding it and we're using munitions that are very powerful, very good, but we wouldn't have been using
04:19them.
04:20We could have used something else.
04:21But these are a little bit older type, equally as effective.
04:28And it's things that we have so much of.
04:30Plus, we have supplies of munitions all over the world that if we ever needed them, we'd take that.
04:37We're supplied all over the world.
04:39But we have, we're in very, very good shape.
04:42Russia seems to have increased their attacks on civilian areas.
04:46That must be a concern to you, Mr. President.
04:48No, no.
04:49Look, we're not involved from the standpoint that we're separated by an ocean.
04:54But I hate to see 25,000 young people a month get killed.
04:59And that's what's happening.
05:00Between Russia and Ukraine, they're losing on average 25,000, mostly soldiers, a month.
05:07And, you know, we're working on it and I think we're making progress.
05:11But it's a violent, very violent war.
05:14There's a lot of hatred in that war, a lot of hatred between the two leaders.
05:17I settled eight wars.
05:19I thought this would be maybe one of the easier ones and it turned out to be the most difficult.
05:23But progress is being made.
05:25Thank you very much, everybody.
