00:16A court heard the 76-year-old had become increasingly frustrated by the sound of the pump and had warned
00:22his neighbor he would take action if the issue was not resolved.
00:25His lawyer said Duffy had been struggling with a lack of sleep and had tried to settle the disagreement before
00:31the incident.
00:32Duffy was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £565 compensation at Wilsdon Magistrates Court.
