00:42We talked earlier this week on Shine Time about how pissed off he was, and rightly so.
00:47Letting Cam Scadaboo know, backflip at Fanatics Fest, that's about as dreadful as it gets.
00:53That can't happen, and Scadaboo learned the lesson and said, he's never going to do that again.
00:58Never do another backflip.
00:59Won't do it at a Fanatics Fest.

01:02Won't do it in a game.
01:03No more backflips from Cam Scadaboo.
01:06One of the reasons why I love the Harbaugh hire is the impact he can have on Jackson Dart,
01:11who is obviously a terrific talent, but needs to be reined in.
01:15Needs to be harnessed.
01:16So yesterday, a Giants practice, and a practice that, according to all the reports,
01:23the defense was outplaying the offense.
01:25And Jackson Dart finally scored, got the offense into the end zone, touchdown on the offense.
01:31And he took the football, and he was joyful, and he was looking to celebrate.
01:35And he took the pigskin, and he chucked it at Greg Newsom Jr.'s helmet.
01:41And he was pissed off, and Harbaugh was pissed off.
01:44And as a result, on the extra points, just backed everyone up 15 yards,
01:52because in theory, if that's a game, that's a taunting penalty.
01:59Unbelievable.
02:00Take a listen to what Harbaugh said when he talked to the press.
02:07I think it's a 15-yard penalty for taunting, so he backed up the extra point and had to do
02:11it again.

02:15I think he understands that we don't want to, for the game-winning extra point,
02:19we don't want it to be a 50-yard extra point or so, whatever it is.

02:29This is why all Giants fans should be thrilled to have John Harbaugh as a head coach.
02:35He didn't say anything that was over the top in terms of word choice.
02:40He sees something and acts swiftly and decisively on the field.

02:48Offense over the last decade for the Giants has been an eyesore, as atrocious as it gets.
02:55Jackson Dart as a player adds life and adds juice.
02:59But he also needs to grow the hell up.
03:02And I love Jackson Dart.
03:04I love who he is.
03:05I love what he represents on the field.
03:07The swashbuckling style.
03:09His ability to run.
03:10His ability to throw.
03:12Can't wait to see him finally throw the ball to link neighbors when neighbors is healthy.
03:16But Jackson Dart needs to understand ability and availability and getting out of bounds.
03:21And when you score a touchdown, you need to have the ability to make sure that you don't do anything
03:27dumb.
03:28And it's better to learn that lesson in a practice in West Virginia during training camp than on Sunday night
03:35football against the Dallas Cowboys.
03:37So, I love Harbaugh in general.
03:41I love Harbaugh specifically when it comes to accountability, discipline, and coaching these young guys up.
03:51Because there's no more fun and games.
03:54That doesn't mean the Giants won't have attitude.
03:56But there's no more the Giants players can do whatever the hell they want.

04:01The Giants have a real Hall of Fame disciplinary coach.
04:05They used to have that forever in Tom Coughlin.
04:07John Harbaugh is the right guy at the right time.
04:10And he's going to maximize Jackson Dart.
04:14He's going to maximize Cam Scadaboo.
04:16He's going to maximize Malik Nabors.
04:18This Giants team, which was penalized all over the place last year and prior years and had no discipline in
04:25any way, shape, or form,
04:27this is yet another example of why we're raising the bar when it comes to the Giants.
04:32Look, they start the season at home against Dallas.
04:35Then they have to go on Monday night football and take on the Rams.
04:37I'm telling you, when you look at the Giants' next four games, they have a golden opportunity to win the
04:43next four.
04:44We're raising the bar.
04:45There's accountability here with the Giants.
04:47Four and two start.
04:49So I love the fact that John Harbaugh sees the moment, push the extra point back, let Dart know.
04:57You better think before you act like that.
