00:00Igby, I am so obsessed with how you managed to sort of capture Brett Easton-Ellis but make him a
00:04completely new character.
00:06The way you, the intonation of your voice and your narration is so intoxicating.
00:10I had no idea that my friends and I would be hunted by perhaps the most insane serial killer ever.
00:17How did you create this character that kind of echoes a real person but is totally your own?
00:22Oh gosh, with a lot of help.
00:23I think Ryan Murphy was a huge guide in that and we spent a lot of time on figuring out
00:32the voiceover and the tone of the voiceover.
00:33Obviously, Brett's book and his narration is so iconic and I really wanted to respect how important that was.
00:43But yeah, we spent a lot of time in post figuring that out and figuring out how is this going
00:50to read.
00:50Obviously, our show's a little different so we wanted to create something that was unique and respectful because we all
00:58love the book, especially Ryan.
01:00And Brett was involved in the creation of the show as well.
01:04It was funny because we all rapped and then Igby didn't rapp.
01:07You know, Igby's still not rapped.
01:10But the voiceover is really a central part of the whole show and Igby's worked to not stop.
01:17I rapped in June.
01:19Yeah, that's crazy.
