11:24And I've seen people who, simply by getting it right, can save three or four hundred pounds a year.
11:28Now, I'm not going to go into my full how to save on buildings insurance while we're here, but it's
11:32incredibly important you insure the right amount.
11:34One other tip for you, people often get wrong, is if they have separate buildings and contents covers.
11:39They say, well, what counts as buildings, what counts as contents?
11:43Very easy way to think about this.
11:45Imagine your house, turn it upside down.
11:49If it falls, it's contents.
11:51If it sticks, it's buildings.
11:54But there can be a few things that fall over that line, which is why often, while it may not
11:59be the cheapest,
12:00if you are insuring both, getting a joint buildings and contents cover tends to be the most sensible way.
