00:42But if you're going to do it, I got a guy keeping the ball on the ground is the path

00:47So this is my biggest baseball wager of the week so far.
00:50And it might end the week being that way with the Rays' money line.
00:53And I'm going to lay the one and a half at roughly even money.
00:55I'm even going to sprinkle on Freddy Peralta to win the start in his debut.
00:59You're looking at about plus 140 on that range.
01:02As you mentioned, 22 runs last night.
01:04So the bullpen's a little taxed here.
01:05We saw three arms go heavy out of the respective pens.
01:08I'm thinking he throws somewhere in the neighborhood of 97 pitches, which is where he's been at all season long.
01:14I think that gets him through five or six innings.
01:17Obviously, you think the best contact team in baseball puts a few runs on the board in Coors.
01:22I'm looking at the Rays pretty convincingly tonight in Colorado.

01:27I think long term, Kyle, Peralta will be better.
01:31I just I think the Rays eventually will get him to throw his best pitch more or whatever they feel

01:38I just don't know that that'll happen tonight.
01:39I think it's a little a little soon to presume that, but I do think in time he'll be better.
01:45You know, the matchup of the night, obviously, is what everybody's watching tonight.
01:48It's Tariq Skubel making his debut for the Dodgers.

01:53It's a national game tonight.
01:54They're showing it, I believe, on MLB Network or somewhere on national TV.
01:58I don't know where to find things these days, but I know that it's the national game.
02:02That I would assume would you talk about a tick up in terms of velo and a tick up in
02:08terms of strikeouts.
02:09I would be curious tonight to see how Skubel does, say, first five innings or so.
02:14And I'd be very interested in his strikeout prop.
02:17I don't know that he'll win the game, but I know he's going to be amped up.
02:19There's no doubt about that.
02:21He's certainly going to be amped up, but this Cubs team doesn't really swing at pitches.
02:25So I'm a little bit worried about the pitch count getting up there.
02:27Even if he's throwing gas, you're talking a handful, seven, eight, nine strikeouts.
02:33That pitch count is going to get up there in a hurry.
02:35He's under 90 pitches for the first time since 2021 on a per start basis.
02:39So I think you're looking at kind of a muted outing from him.
02:42He might be effective, but I'm not sure how deep he goes.
02:45And in this era, in 2026, where it's hard to get pitchers to go much past 100 pitches,
02:50five, maybe six innings for some of these guys, especially for a team like the Dodgers,
02:55I've got no wind staring at me right now for Scubo in his debut at plus money.
03:00I'm having a hard time not jumping on that.
03:03I don't like to be the guy that fades the, you know, all pro pitcher going in his first
03:07start for the dynasty, the Monstars, all that good stuff.
03:10But I think I'm going to be on the other side here.
03:12I don't think he earns the win.
03:14That doesn't mean they don't win, but I don't think he gets the win.
03:17So I think he's going to be on the other side.
