01:01The first gig we ever did outside of London was in Stoke-on-Trent.
01:06And there were about twelve people there.
01:10And there were about five girls who were kind of into it.
01:13And there were like six blokes and one indiscriminate who was standing in the middle.
01:18And it was just, yeah, it was really bad.
01:20I remember we didn't even hang around to get paid.
01:22We were getting paid about thirty quid for the gig.
01:23Because we got on and then, I think they started shouting out that we thought we were punks.
01:30And they started sort of, the blokes started booing, the girls were kind of into it.
01:34And then about three songs in they realised that our Peruvian drummer could have been a Paki.
01:38So they started shouting Pakis and Punks.
01:41So they didn't like us because we were...
01:43I've never heard this story.

01:45So we were being called Pakis and Punks.
01:49And we didn't stay.
01:50We literally just sort of did the six songs and just ran into the splitter and got out of that.

01:55I'm sure Stoke-on-Trent has its moments as well.

02:00You get like a triangle of beer, cups full of like, you know, a third cup of beer.
02:05And there's, it's like across a table.
02:07So you've got like a triangle shape and a triangle shape.
02:11And there's two opposing players and you're trying to just firing ping pong, ping pong balls into the beer.
02:15And if you get one in their cup, they've got to drink it.
02:18And you're just trying to just get them drunk.
02:20That's amazing.
02:21It's pretty basic, but it was good.
