00:08Hi, I'm Max from Wolfgang and we're at V Festival 2011.
00:11The name came from, actually my sister came up with it.
00:15I was looking for something which sort of sounded memorable and a bit epic and inclusive
00:22as well.
00:22I wanted it to sort of sound like the name of a project, so not just my name.
00:26I love wolves and my sister was like, oh, what about Wolfgang?
00:29It's the name of a song which is on the album which I wrote after having a dream.
00:33I dreamt about this place which I was trying to get to and it was kind of like a utopian
00:38vision almost about this place.
00:39It was called Suego Forts and I kind of Googled it the next day just to see if it actually
00:43exists but I couldn't find anything so it just came from my head.
00:48Studying anthropology, I guess, kind of helped to feed my imagination a bit because it's
00:53a very, you learn some amazing things about how people live all across the world and I've
00:58always been quite interested, quite nosy in a way of like what's happening around me.
01:02So I think, yeah, it probably does help with the lyric writing.
01:05I was working with a few people in London before and I was sort of trying out different producers
01:10and I'd kind of like, I was kind of starting to record an album and then I kind of took
01:15a
01:15step back and I thought, you know, is this how I actually want it to sound?
01:17And I kind of thought that I needed to go away and do it again so I started from scratch
01:23which kind of set things back a bit but I'm really happy with how it sounds now.
01:26I would love to work with, I don't know, I'd love to do a song with so many different
01:32people.
01:33It's very difficult to say.
01:34Paul Simon I'd love to do a song with.
01:37Like a J.B. Bowie I guess.
01:39Kate Bush I'd love to do like a duet with her, it would be amazing.
01:42Yeah, like people, old school people you know.
01:45It's really like, it was really scary to kind of, because we were in the middle of that
01:48kind of hurricane and it was really scary kind of like how fast the wind picked up and
01:55you know obviously people died and it was really quite shocking but I don't think it
01:58really puts you off like performing at festivals but I mean I don't know how you can really
02:02like stop something like that happening you know it's like a natural kind of disaster really.
