00:00and what do you think about the the trade to brenton doyle we're trying to figure out how he
00:03fits into this outfield two-time gold glover i know the offense isn't where it used to be but
00:08it certainly seems like this is a this is an outfielder who could have a regular position
00:12in the outfield on this team yeah it kind of feels like some moves are gonna have to bounce around
00:18like because if anything they have they had a crunch of uh right-handed outfielders that was
00:23coming uh before this you know doyle certainly for like one the socks have they're well above
00:30average for outfield defense in terms of outfield outs above average um as a as an outfield group
00:36but you had some prayer kind of filling this role of like right-handed guy who can fill in center
00:40field you know you had luis angel acuna doing that before he certainly hasn't played outfield in a
00:44while and it's now more uh you know the backup shortstop and pinch runner sort of dude but you
00:49had also austin hayes who you know isn't a center field option the way you know doyle is but is
00:54another bat that was you know due for his rehab assignment to just expire at a certain point so
00:59with them still wanting catching still wanting starting pitching you kind of figure like all
01:05right there's got to be some moves still in place that probably involve pulling away from this group to
01:09some degree to really make this uh make sense the the part like the baseline idea of like plus fielding
01:16center fielder multiple years of control yeah that sounds like a move that you know the chris gets
01:21front office that you know talks about defense so much uh defensive flexibility uh would be into and
01:27you know you could you know him being right-handed you could kind of pair him with or split time
01:30with
01:30tristan peters to a degree who hasn't started a bunch against left-handed pitching but certainly
01:35with the roster as a whole uh it feels like there's got to be two or three more corresponding moves
01:40for how it really fits um that maybe you'll make a ton of sense in five hours in a way
01:46that
01:46you can't quite see the full vision just yet
01:48you
