00:00Jharkand was formed only 26 years ago and hardly any major recruitment exam has escaped controversy.
00:09The latest triggered is the 14 JPSA exam.
00:19Here's the thing. Today, Chief Minister Hemant Surain along with Minister Sudivya Kumar holds the education portfolio.
00:25In May 2026, while talking about the neat paper leak controversy, CM Surain had said
00:34But he didn't mention Jharkand's own recruitment troubles.
00:42The government says it is working to fill around 25,000 vacancies.
00:47But thousands of aspirants protesting in Ranchi say the issue is not just jobs.
00:51It is getting a fair shot at the exams that decide them.
01:01That's Congress leader Kumar Raja at the protest.
01:04This problem goes back years.
01:06From the very first JPSA civil services examination during the tenure of Babulan Marandi
01:11and later Arjun Munda's BJP governments
01:13to the 4th JPSA under Hemant Surain's JMM-led coalition government
01:17and now the 14th JPSA controversy,
01:19the state has seen repeated recruitment disputes that have kept aspirants on edge.
01:24JPSA exams have faced allegations over selection processes, answer keys, reservation rules and delays.
01:31And it is not just JPSA.
01:32Teacher recruitment, JSSC junior engineer exams,
01:36excise constable recruitment and other government exams have also faced complaints, legal challenges or delays.
01:41Adding to the controversy is the role of TSR Data Processing Private Limited, TDPL,
01:47a private exam conducting agency that was blacklisted by the JSSC
01:51and faced debarment proceedings in states like Uttar Pradesh over alleged non-compliance and contract violations.
01:57Despite this, the agency was later brought back to handle major recruitment exams,
02:01triggering student protests, questions over the process and political backlash.
02:17The JPSA has now postponed 9 competitive exams for around 500 posts including the combined civil services main exam.
02:25Investigations are underway.
02:26But the thing is that the CBI investigation into the first and second GPSC civil services examinations,
02:32where there were allegations of answer sheet tampering, forgery and manipulated meritless is still ongoing.
02:38Now a lot of students are left asking,
02:40I am having to Cole Jeep in 10-12 years,
02:43and expect today to be done a couple of students
02:44in order to try and avoid the planning of the RMB site.
02:47Sorry.
02:48What are you doing?
02:50I have made a copy of the Rizal Pradesh-P s├║per-San Olympia
